To be fair they never said he'd be back in two weeks. They said he'd be reevaluated in that amount of time. He's got a fracture which usually means 6-8 weeks to fully heal.

It's a bone fracture: takes a long time to heal relative to say a mild joint sprain.
Good news is the Lakers don't really need him for the regular season and since it's a bone no ligament/joint issues to worry about. Once it fully heals should be no lingering effects

Oh boy do we miss him out there. I hope we get back our defensive identity without him but he might be the main source of it.

Lakers lost 1 game without him. He isn't Kobe Bryant over here.

Rondos been very good, the person we need benching is KCP.

Like @Pioneer10 mentioned, no reason to rush him back at the moment. Would like to see guys like Caruso and Cook make strides defensively in the meantime. With that said our defense is certainly on another level with him in the rotation.

KCP didn't even play bad... It's like you guys just regurgitate the same junk and hope it sticks.

Very good? No. He's been very inconsistent. Tonight, he was good though.

You’re calling 4 pts in 30 minutes and 0/3 from outside good?

Where Troy Daniels comes in and hits 2/3 in 10 minutes, but is benched. Explain to me that logic. If it sticks, it’s cause it’s junk.

Rondo’s at least hitting his threes and can move the ball. What does KCP bring exactly? It’s for sure not his defense.

He only took five shots. Way to blow it out of proportion. The majority of the game consisted of KCP playing defense and he did a sufficient job at it. 0/3 from three isn't a huge deal. If 0-3 from 3 point is enough for you to warrant calling someone bad, you could call half the league bad every single night games are played. If you actually paid attention to the game, Lakers ran a lot of switches and had AD step out into the perimeter to guard smaller players. This meant KCP switched onto guys like Jokic and Milsap. Troy Daniels lack of defense puts is in a terrible position defensively so Frank chose KCP to help close out on any defensive mishaps especially since Caruso was under foul trouble. Really, you're going to try and blame KCP for this game when he went 2/5, had three steals, and was playing solid defense in every minute he played? Before you knock KCP's defense, really, try to watch the damn game next time. He constantly prevents the team from getting a pass by getting in front of his opposing player. That helps run the shot clock down and that is why you saw the Nuggets struggle offensively particularly with Jokic trying to make an inside pass but KCP sticking in front of his opposing player causes Jokic to reconsider. It's not like KCP was missing wide open shots badly and making boneheaded plays.

Come on guys, this was as good a team win as we have seen this seasons. I thought everyone who played had some key moments even with some of the few normal bone head plays that happen in each and every game. Plus, half the team was sick. This is my favorite win of the year so far. Lakers never look good playing in Denver during the beginning of the season. I felt from the first 5 min of the game that they were gonna win.

I watch every “damn” game. Ball denial is trivial and any player should do that, yet he constantly gets picked off and blown by on defense, gets caught in no mans land when he tries to help in the paint and leaves a shooter open.

To circle back this thread to Bradley, that is our starter and what defense looks like and we’re sorely missing it.

We only lost 1 game but the games he's been out, our defense were less clamping down than the games before where he was playing.

Don't ask any questions and just use whatever South Beach "supplements" Bron gives you before the game.

We are 12-1 when Avery Bradley doesn't play. That's scary good considering we all know Bradley is such a key piece to our team. We have so many options out there and Bradley will be a key contributor. I am salivating at a Bradley, Green, Caruso, Bron, and AD lineup defensively.

First few games of Bradley being out, our defense slipped a lot. We’ve clamped down since then.

Because Caruso has been playing more. He was injured back then too, iirc
