The Game Time chat; and all the keyboard warriors.

 

i was watching on delay, and i checked the forum to take the temperature. first, you'd think we were down 1000 (it was 3) and that kuz, AD, rondo, and dwight were the worst players evar. then everyone was trying to fight each other over things i couldn't quite make out.

good times.

 

I'm a warrior in real life too.

 

BI was who they wanted. They would not have made the trade if it was Kuzma in his place.

oooh, i have a real WMC. it's general, but the game tonight reminded me:

the league needs to fix those fouls where guys are shoving lob targets. it's dangerous for the lob target, and it robs the fans of seeing exciting plays. you'd think they'd have cleaned this up in like, '87 or something. right now, it makes too much sense to just shove every roll man on every play, figuring you'll get caught on less than half of them, and you're saving sure dunks left and right. best part: it's considered a non-shooting foul! at the very least these need to be shooting fouls. once that pass is airborne, the guy on the other end should be considered in a shooting motion.

 

We should all make a pact to do a Stuart Smalley game time chat... and see if anyone can stop themselves from barfing.

I just think the Lakers are amazing, they all look so muscular and dominant and I don't know how we deserve this wonderfulness.

Well, they are running into a little rough patch, but doggone it, I know they will overcome by the end... they always do.

We are so blessed to bear witness to LeBron James and Anthony Davis gracing our court at the same time... I must have done something good.

KCP might make a mistake once in awhile, but I just love how he perseveres no matter how hostile those mean fans might be.

Try that for awhile... it wears pretty thin.

Dude, we were joking around for like 5 min out of 2 and a half hours, why so dramatic?

 

Let me ask you something... if someone is complaining about the team... and someone is complaining about the other people on the board... which is more damaging to the forum?

Look at my posts... I said just as many positive things as negative things. Probably more positive things.

There's only twelve people their in Game Time Chat to begin with... I don't see how it helps the forum if someone comes for a few minutes just to tell everyone how they suck and then leaves... or in the case of others, they just ignore the chat altogether.

If you get a hundred people going... sure you can cull the herd... but with 12 to 15 people... we should be encouraging participation instead of telling the few who are there how much they suck.

im sure vogel can allow dudz to chuck 20 shots a gm at a mid a mid 30% clip like melo if he liked losing....

 

Anyone complaining about this team should leave the site. Seriously. This team is 16-2 and the 2 losses were last half of the 4th quarter games.

 

Dudz wound have to enter the game and play more than a handful of minutes to do that tho.

Stotts wants his players to shoot to put less duress on Dame and CJ. Vogs would have him playing different here and with our defensive stars and rim protectors maybe Melo turns it around...I mean look what it’s done for Kuz’s defensive game.

And at the very least, less duress for Bron to playmake. Wouldn’t you agree that’s important?

 

yes but that player isnt melo, this melo gm against chi is an anomaly, i think his sub 30% shooting will trend for most of the season especially against better teams (chi stinks. we saw it 1st hand already)

 

I think educated fans compare our play to what they see is possible. All of our sum of parts working as poetry in motion, etc.

When they don’t see that, they point it out. I didn’t see this game, but I’m guessing despite Rondo being 3-3 from 3 point land it didn’t prevent fans from griping about 3 (Likely) careless turnovers.

every player including Lebron make questionable to crappy decisions every game. When you’re chasing perfection, it gets pointed out. The expectations for this team are very high.

It’s the exact reason we like Cookie’s doom thread. If someone posted our stuff on their forum, I bet we’d think it’s hilarious. Fans are dramatic, it’s what they do.

 

So I start watching on delay about an hour after the start. Skipping commercials and all the non essentials. First quarter ends and into the second, and then 47 minutes into the recording on my DTV HD box the image freezes. Can't do anything or get it going again. So I figured I would go to the by now probably 4th quarter. Eh Eh. That's not happening either as trying to go back to live programming now I couldn't even get a picture just a ******* black screen. No idea WTF happened and just quit trying. Checked the score on line and figured I'll catch the highlights here.
