A lot of our defensive effectiveness is due to Ludabrow. Replacing him with Kuz in the starting lineup really affected our defense negatively. It was good to see Kuz get his offensive effectiveness back though.

    Get KCP outta here....

every time he is on the court I feel like Vogel is sabotaging the game to our disadvantage.

I’m not sure there is one active thread on LB where members aren’t arguing about Melo, BI, AD, Dudley, the front office, load management etc. I certainly don’t expect everyone to agree but every thread....

The slow starts are a bit maddening. I don't like going down by double digits in the first quarter. It's a big hole to climb out of. It's not due to bad offense necessarily, it's just bad shooting with pretty open looks. Like everyone starts cold most games.

McGee with AD is a problem, particularly against small-ball lineups or shooting bigs. Look at what happened with Phoenix and Sac versus GS

The Lakers can certainly dominate this type of matchup as you can easily switch Lebron to 4 and that will work with either AD/Dwight/McGee in that order.
But when AD is at the 4 and McGee is at the 5 you end up losing what makes AD a nightmare on defense (his ability to switch onto perimeter players and still defend the paint) and you have a lineup that looks ready to feast on an 90's frontcourt not the modern game

With McGee, he just can't get the 3 point line fast enough as he doesn't have the quick feet of AD and Dwight so those lineups really exploit the Lakers more traditional starting lineup. Baynes got open consistently for Phoenix and the Kings exploited the spacing as well during their respective first quarters. When AD sat and the Lakers went with a more modern lineup again no issues blowing a team out as Dwight fills in nicely in a 1-4 setup

What I hate is LBJ carrying this team so far in his 17th year instead of coasting til after the All Star break

You'd prefer 6W and 6L during the easy part of our schedule if it came to that?

We didn’t win by enough, so this might as well be a loss. AD had 34, but they were mostly jumpers or assisted buckets so do they really even count? Should have made a trade for a backup SF at halftime too. I mean yeah we are 12-2, but I think I’d just be happier if we were like 8-6, maybe 7-7 with the kids still around instead of this fraud Robin AD. [IMG]

Actual WMC, Lakers fans, never satisfied, grass is always greener, every game should be a blowout. :wasntme: Living in the moment is ok, these games are entertainment. I remember when we were winning 3 titles in a row I forgot that and just wanted to get to June, but all the games are entertainment, it’s all part of the journey, it’s all meant to be as fun as possible, wish more wouldn’t lose sight of that so quickly after so many years of horrible basketball.

The emotional ebbs and flow of the fan, the irritional takes, the arm chair GMs, etc; I thought all of that is allowed on a forum.

I mean: we have posters who hijack every thread, but nothing is done? Or who present the same ludicrous trade proposals every single thread.

Or the fans who are still upset we got rid of the kids?

I say to all the negative posters; keep on keeping on. We need the balanc on this forum.
