They are predicting 4 in a row tonight. I hope it happens.

Tough game tonight... and at 4:30am again :(
If we start slow, Miami will pull away and there will be no 4th Q comeback. I hope Bron sets the tone from the first whistle, we could use a blowout and him and AD both playing 30mins. max

I think this is where Kuz will have a big game and the rest since Tuesday will give them a good start to the game. Next week is concerning with 4 games. Want to see how they preserve LeBron.

Do people seriously care about the “King” nickname. He’s only called that because his last name is James and it’s a play on the King James Bible. Nobody would have called him that otherwise, he ran with it. It’s no dumber than most other nicknames.

As for the actual player, haven’t seen someone play this well in season 17 since Kobe. I only hope he can stay healthy and that we hold him out of some games we can probably win without him, load management and all that. I would also say I’m not surprised how many assists he’s getting to AD, he’s never played with a player this good. IMO as good as Wade was, he already wasn’t the player he used to be by the time LeBron showed up.

That's literally the first time I heard this origin story. Don't think it's true at all.

I agree but none of this matters if they don't win a couple of rings. As hobbled as Wade was, he showed up when the game mattered. AD has yet to prove it thus far. But on a talent perspective, I think you can make a valid case that AD is probably the best fit with LeBron. Plays elite defense, can play off-ball, and doesn't have an ego. I still feel like Kyrie and Bron would have won a few more rings had the Warriors not gotten KD but AD is definitely the best fit and talent.

You could be right, I can find no official source on when he got that nickname and why. All sites are speculating and saying he’s had “King” and “Chosen One” as nicknames since high school. I have seen it said multiple times over the years on forums that it a play on the King James Bible, and I’ve heard it kind of implied by color commentary guys before, LeBron is a religious guy, I put the Chosen One nickname with King and it just made sense to me more than anything else. I guess it could easily be as simple as he was called that by friends or media in HS because he was the king of Ohio basketball, but again, I had always heard it was a play on the King James Bible. Like how people take my name and still immediately say a stupid 90’s comedy with it in there like they’re clever, or older people cite a 70’s tv show character. I could absolutely be wrong here, I’ve always gone off of what is rumored. But hey, how about that 7 game win streak, the Kang closed it out tonight.

The King James Bible was based on King James commissioning the work, so really it's about King James the King. When the young up and comer is projected to rule the sport for years to come, I think it was a natural fit.

Started with "The Chosen One" and he ended up getting the tattoo to match. The Press has always tried to anoint whoever is "Next"

Not sure when the "King James" thing started, but he did nothing to resist it lol. Overall, it's hard to say his career did not meet expectations. it's a rarity that someone could live up to that kind of hype.

He did play very very well. I have a person dislike for self-given nicknames, and that includes Mamba b*******.

THAT was impressive. ^^^ Guy is in incredible condition and knows his body well. Keep the minutes down and he'll pick his spots on offense to rest once the shots start dropping from others off the bench and hopefully Rondo plays a lot better than last year. Just giving Caruso all of KCP's minutes would do wonders for this team. If only.

Yeah... I hope Farnk playing KCPee isn't some Rambis BS edict, cause he wants a piece of the pie.

He's always played the game the right way but when he's hustling, diving for loose balls, closing up on shooters, he's really EASY to root for. Guy is special, im glad he's wearing P&G. I am/was lucky enough to watch some of the goats during my lifetime... most of then in Lakers uni :)
Keep it up Bron... and please God, let him stay healthy.

He's still one incredible player. Good we did not make the playoffs last year :) He took summer off, and look at him now.
