Another GREAT victory to pick up on the road - and Dwight and KCP won us this game. If we get games like that from these guys every once in a while - we're going to be VERY good.

A QUIET Triple Double from LeBron, and a QUIET 25-11-4 from AD. I love it. I miss this feeling.

Oh and we're 5-1...#1 in the west. Lets effing go

Lakers have less FTs, rebs/offensive rebs, the same 3PM and more turnovers, yet still win the game. What gives??

Our points in the paint is making the difference. Keep it up boys!

Loved watching AD school Aldridge, especially after he spurned us in free agency a few years ago.

Little to worry about with this kind of D ... Imagine when we are going to hit some outside shots ...

haven't seen all of the second half yet, but the first half defense was excellent last night. normally, you can count on one of the spurs' plucky-but-undertalented guards to just roast us, but guys were all over them, keeping them from getting the kind of rhythm necessary to run off 6 made threes or something stupid like that.

AD is so much better than aldridge, it was sort of sad.

Aldridge's game was never based on speed and athleticism, which is great for longevity and Spurs brand, but when you have an elite player going against him who has that quickness and athleticism.... well, it gets embarrassing and fast.

AD, Dwight, and McGee would abuse him in a playoff series especially when they're getting nothing from Lyles and Poeltl.

This team is beginning to remind me of the Grit 'n Grind Memphis Grizzlies teams, except with way better talent.

I'm not sure if we're championship material yet. But I'm not complaining after a 6 year playoff drought. I might do that next year if we don't hire an offensive coordinator.

I thought we played well defensively throughout and were able to weather the inevitable Spurs comeback attempt.

Things got close, but I never felt like we were going to lose which is a big change from the last few years.

The team is clicking and that's a great sign so early in the season. I think that first loss to the Clippers could end up being a good thing in the long run. Guys are showing a lot of effort on the defensive end. when the threes start dropping consistently we will be in full championship mode IMO.

I love, LOVE, that we're winning games with defense. Offenses are streaky, just like players, and tend to regress on the road. But if a team commits on the defensive end, and has the talent to carry it out, you can ride that all season, wherever you play.

I can't be mad at 2 wins over 2 well coached Texas teams. I'll take it.

And we haven't even shot the ball well at all and with our shooters struggling like Daniels and Cook who are career 40%+ 3pt shooters you have to believe they will get closer to their mean (averages) eventually and if that happens while we continue to demolish teams on defense.... LOOKOUT!

This just in: The Lakers are very good this year.

Get ready for the rest of the league and other team's fans to start complaining about how the Lakers get "all the calls" and that the league is just "trying to help the Lakers win" because it's "better for ratings".

I never thought I'd be THIS ecstatic to see all of that chatter again...it also means Lakers are officially BACK
