Great assists all night and then the scoring came in bunches in the second half. Phenomenal!

Good game as a facilitator and then put it away late. He was pacing himself and knows his game and body better than anyone else. If you want to nitpick, I wonder if he found a balance earlier or turned it on earlier if we could've put them away before the 4th. Felt like we let them hang around 3 quarters too many.

yeah, i agree. watching the game i saw limited urgency from lebron in the first half. something seemed to light a fire in the second--perhaps realizing that they might cough one up at home to charlotte if they didn't play harder.

The problem I have with “turning it on” in the 4th quarter is you could be resting those 12 minutes if you put the game away earlier.

Great game by LeBron - took over when he needed to while AD was on the bench - RESTING...this is key. AD hasn't played with a guy like LeBron before where that guy can just take over the game and AD can chill on the bench. I love it.

Let's hope his home is OK as last thing Lakers need is his house burned down and all the distractions and stress to him and his family. Heard on the radio this is an ongoing bleep of a big fire called the Getty Fire. Started in the wee hours. Big expensive homes in this area and don't know how many have been lost. But it's reported as hop scotching and hitting 2 or 3 with one in the middle left alone. Whatever the causes. Also heard on the radio the other day that is often embers that get sucked into the natural draft of attic breather vents. Latest technology there now is for smaller screen holes and even some screen material that will close itself from sheer heat being around it.

    Yikes!!

That jumper is key for him at this stage in his career; it opens up driving lanes for him.

It would also help if AD played some more 5 while he plays the 4...

The weird thing about the Getty fire is that the hillside opposite the Getty Museum suffered a major fire just a few years ago.

That one was started by vagrants cooking under the freeway where Sepulveda crossed under and they were camped. This may turn out to be similar cause.

The Mayor says the Getty fire was not due to any homeless encampments.

LMAO because of my little backstory of going semi PC here. And so un LT of me doing that. Perceptive of you Savs .... and LJ you're in the story as well

When I had an office at WBR for many years two of my most favorite things daily were the Radio shows of Jim Rome in the morning and John and Ken KFI in the afternoons. Just consistently hilarious often IMO in their in the moment humor. Never catch Romey anymore but John and Ken whenever in the car in the afternoons. They have a nickname for Garcetti, "Mayor Yoga Pants" and were talking about how he had twisted himself into a pretzel to say anything but, "Homeless" in his statement that LJ refers to.

So it was this, "Angelenos who are unhoused" are not suspected of having started the fire. For a day I tried to be kind as well with "Vagrants" just couldn't go as far as Garcetti.

As a footnote John says he has unnamed sources to behind the scenes inspectors trying to determine the cause of the fire of course and they told him the mayor's statement was very premature and based in no factual evidence yet.

Well, who knows but I will say that if a politician says this, it must be true because we all know that politicians only speak the truth with nothing buy facts ti support them.

    Especially in California!
