He's played some incredibly good D so far. He just needs to hit that 3 here and there and we're golden.

4 of 5 from downtown last night. Golden! I was also thrilled about the Bradley pickup this summer. He's basically what KCP should be - a tenacious defender and a threat to score as well. He is essential for the starting unit.

I thought about him today when I was printing labels.

Locked up Conley and threw away the key. Jackson described him as disruptive. Has the flattest outside shot I've ever seen in a long time.

That was game changing defense tonight. Going to be fun to watch.

Love this guy. Some of the best perimeter D I've seen lately. And he happens to be on our team. Hit only 1 three though. Keep working on it.

A great “keep me as a starter” game. We’re going to need his defense against all the good guards in the league.

He's quietly my favorite current Laker. I love his defensive intensity and he's not afraid to shoot.

Totally agree Kareem. This is why the Vogel talk about possibly starting Rondo gives me hives. We have the perfect backcourt starters right now. Just bring in Rondo/Caruso to shore up the backup PG position. Bradley should still be getting the bulk of the minutes at 1 because of his D. And Danny Green should play plenty of minutes over KCPuke.

I think Bradley can play some SG too. I think we might see some of that with Rondo at PG to keep a defensive guard out there when Green needs rest.

D was elite. Fantastic effort. His offense can be a little bipolar at times, but willing to overlook that with his strong defense. He and Green can really dominate the perimeter defensively. AD has the paint covered. And Bron is really the biggest question mark defensively out of our starters. Whether he's engaged like last night or completely disinterested and coasting. Hopefully they'll keep him motivated to give a damn on that end.

We have the makings of an incredibly good defensive team. In the playoffs it will be even better bc LeBron will play d then too.

He has been quietly good, same as Danny Green after game 1. Not amazing, just very solid. Possessions like this are awesome though

I quit eating sweet s*** and cut my carbs by about 80% and have lost 30 lbs. That's not even trying. If you did that AND worked out correctly, it would not be too hard. Assuming he was truly at least 30 lbs over his ideal weight.

He's a weak link among the rotation. On ball defense is decent but he's a weak rebounder and doesn't have great length on closeouts

Add in in offense he loves the mid range while being inconsistent from 3 hurts the team. When Caruso went out in the 4 the felt like the Lakers were going to be in trouble but got bailed out by the Mavs not defending the 3 point line

Did a fine job hounding Luka all night. Can’t understate how valuable his D has been. Don’t need much on offense from him, just keep teams honest like Rondo can’t. But yeah Caruso doesn’t give up too much to him on defense and is bigger, the size of a SF, and a better offensive player.

He was great on Doncic, and this is why you don't want Rondo starting over him - we'll give up way too much on D.

Hard to imagine considering what a great game Doncic had. He would have gone for 50/15/20 with a bad defender on him.
