It's a turbl decision to let him be a PG at this stage of his career. You just saw what defensive pressure can do to him and his mediocre ball handling abilities.

He's a not a great iso player, and never has been. He looked very pedestrian last night. AD looked soft in the post and easy to disrupt.

Overall not impressed. If his main gift over Kobe is supposed to be leadership, I'd include the need for self awareness as part of it. Know your limits, play to your strengths.

He had to work too hard for what he got last night, but the good news is that we just saw how big the hill is to climb to get to the mountaintop. And it doesn't look good.

You can’t take away from the cLip defense...it was some good s***. Bron probably eats against most teams in the regular season, but that’s not what this season is all about. If Utah stunts and gives Bron fits, that’s the type of teams we will be facing in May...when it really counts.

Last year the other dude had him at small ball center and now this year, this dude has him playing point gawd.

Just stop with the gimmicky nonsense already.

He’s a playmaker at the forward position...that’s it! Let him do that instead of having him play on ball so goddamn much. He played with Kyrie Irving before he got here and Wade before that. We’re making it sound like dude is complete trash playing off ball at times cause he HAS to have the ball at all times in his hands to be effective. Y’all must be confused...This is LeBron James....not James LaRden. His follicle thing is the Benjamin Button hairline, the other guy’s thing is a weird beard (did I do it right, LT?)

With Bron at point going against playoff contending defenses, you can expect this:

Last in PACE...he’s f***ing about to be 35y/o and you think the post-ups are for AD...nah, it’s so he can save his legs

    Last in transition frequency

    4th worst in PnR frequency
    https://stats.nba.com/teams/ball-handler/?sort=POSS_PCT&dir=1

    1st in iso frequency
    https://stats.nba.com/teams/isolation/?sort=POSS_PCT&dir=1

On 2nd thought, it’s Hard to admit, but maybe he is that other James.

I know I know...it’s one game. Yeah, till it’s not. Please drop the point gawd gimmick Vogel. Do better!

Bron, I know you a star and have an ego where you can’t fathom your limitations, but bruh Showtime was in the 80s. Get your own lane....and bruh, this ain’t it. Stop wasting your time & legs...go demand another point guard/playmaker before it’s too late.

    I mean, isn’t it Obvious!?

If he said it, it has to be!

i agree. we need to trade our non-AD players for an all-star ballhandling guard in his prime.

why didn't we think of this???!!!

We're all ready for some good news. 13 new players on the roster or whatever it is. Lots of change, entire new coaching staff, etc etc. Yes, it will take awhile to gel, but my body is ready.

    Wait.

Who claimed LeBron is a better leader than Kobe?

Kobe dragged Pau Gasol's a** to 2 rings. People can take that idiocy...

So the LeBron point guard/ point forward experiment didn't last long. Frank said he's thinking about putting Rondo as the starting PG. LeBron had a lot of 3 point shooters on his Championship teams. But also had a guy who can also handle the ball, good passer who had good court vision in D-Wade and Kyrie who can dish the ball to shooters and not have the offense get so stagnant. Rondo is also a guy who is a great passer with great court vision. But the difference with them and Rondo is that D-Wade & Kyrie can also score. With Rondo in the starting line up, is it enough to see some better offense from the starters?
