I get antsy every time they fall on the floor. AD ones get me so nervous since he's always landing awkwardly due to his frame. LeBron's got muscles everywhere so I'm not as concerned but man, they need to try not to overdo it. This is why I'm more excited about Kuzma this season because I am fully expecting he can take more of the offensive load off Bron and Brow when we need to close games out.

    I.....I.......I........me........me........I is back.....

Lebron. General public doesn't give a flying rats behind what you think. Only people who care about you are sports fans, your family and friends and people you give free s*** too. And sports fans and people you give free s*** to wont give a crap when you retire.

Yeah, I just hope the bball gods have mercy on us this year. Boog is enough of a sacrifice to get our duo into June.

The dubs earned those titles, but I cringe when I think of them as some type of dynasty. They were unbelievably lucky to be healthy through their run (think of all the key injuries in the West) and they ran into Bron's Cavs teams in the Finals that weren't really all the way right and exploited it.

    A healthy Shaq in 2003: Quat-row?
A healthy Malone & Kob free of any courtroom drama in 2004: Cinc-row?

Its why I want more playmaking on this team besides AD, 'Do and Caruso. I love to see Bron at the point, but save most of that s*** for the postseason fam.
Kuz covers Bron at the 3 for sure, but can Dudz cover 15-20 for AD at the 4?

Just get our stars to May at near 100 and #17 is only ours to lose imo.

I don't think we win in 2003, even if Shaq was healthy. Our important role players were beginning to not fill their roles. Horry, Fox, and Shaw were getting older. I realiz Malone and Payton were old when we added them, but an old superstar is more effective than an old role player.

But 2004...Malone AND Horace Grant went down in the Finals. Slava was left to contend with Rasheed Wallace.

Lebron stays healthy and AD is DOPY, Lakers are likely to end the year title winners.

I disagree. Lebron already has 3 rings. If he got two with the Lakers, his jersey will be in the rafters. Maybe one will do it. Davis will need to establish himself over a longer period of time. This is just click bait BS. Just let them play and quit worrying about if they get in the rafters or not. Time will tell.

No way does 1 ring get him in the Lakers rafters!!!!

where’s the standards? He’s done nothing here yet except pop a groin and miss the playoffs.

Anybody else with 1 ring with the Lakers played here many many years. I’m not changing the standard for anyone.

    Be a Champion first.

IMO Lebron needs to just win one ring to get his number in the rafters.

The standards would be that he has won 4 rings overall and is one of the greatest players of his era. Lakers would be fools to NOT want that to be part of their history. Whether or not his achievements in this league have been substantially performed while a Laker, will probably NOT matter as much as you want it to be. He is an icon. Wilt is up there and he ONLY won a single ring with the Lakers and not as many as Lebron overall.

LeBron plays with us for a few years, and then he joins his sons team, assuming he’s drafted, as a free agent so that he can play with his kid, then somehow gets his jersey retired in four franchises?

Look for a great year from LeBron, one for the ages. Dude has a generational type of player helping in AD.

We’re going to light up the scissors.

When you get right down to it LeBron saved the Lakers. It is what it is. And Jeanie getting rid of Jim and Mitch and bringing in Magic and Rob. They, Magic especially got LBJ here. He has been nothing but a model citizen with how he treats and supports his teammates. If this is who he is and it seems to be .... bottom line like Kobe if you have talent and work he will support you and make you better if you allow their input. Like Kuz. From LeBron too I'm sure. But no blaming glances or being a d*** out there so far. Kobe's stares could melt.

    :Deathstare:

Save the franchise too? Hell yeah, sorry @RonStu .... I turned and became a fan. The guy is amazing. Much more finely skilled now too. Really stepped his game up over the years.
