I have to think Bron and his relationship with Rob get this done if/ when it's time to pick.

I think Clips will use load management to with their two guys. But they're in their prime. Bron has a million more miles of wear and tear, I think he could have a bigger role here even with Kuz and our 6 guards off the bench.

There's even a possibility of him being in a close out lineup with us. That's not happening across the hall with PG and KL locking up the minutes for any wing player in the waning minutes of the game.

cLips have 14 on the roster with guaranteed deals, but we got the money clip (ie 1.75m dpe that doesn’t prorate).

But I’m completely with the Bron insurance. Iggy has had the ability to playmaker before and can spell Bron minutes while Kuz gives AD a breather.

So following Woj’s report that both LA teams are lingering to poach Iggy on the buyout market, Rox just threw their name into that hat.

They can apply for a 1.3m dpe that doesn’t prorate and competes with our 1.75m Boogie dpe...or still have the 2.1m remaining of their MLE or the entire 3.6m biannual exception to offer.

Needless to say, they still can offer more money to Iggy than both the cLips and us.

Eh, maybe he goes there. Decent chance iggy doesn’t finish the season, either, though.

That is a really quick and weird turnaround. We just signed Hearn, a day ago

Has been an SB Laker. A nice tandem with him and D. Jackson for them. Lots of guards in our pipeline and already on the Varsity with good deals.

Would rather we found a young junkyard dog wing defender, but I know that’s asking too much.

I’d be more excited about Vander Blue.

I’m happy for Chriss...kid was repped by Rob once upon a time.

Anyways, a wing is now available. Still gotta hold out for Iggy tho, right?

Rox will probably move in on this kid as a Green replacement if he gets past waivers. Cleveland, Nawlins and Wiz all need to add bodies before the season opener, so maybe they move in on him.

Are you intimating we shouldn't hold out for Iggy? I mean, who's left that we need to pounce on? I like the roster as it is right now as long as Kuz is back early in the season. It's an entirely new team and it's gelling quickly.

I would most likely hold out for Iggy if another big that can play 4/5 isn't available (Noah, Faried, etc).

But I've made no secret about Daniels and Dudz. Both those vet min signings only made sense to me if a 3rd max guy was in the bag and we needed to flesh out the roster. I would replace those 2 in a hot minute with a player of need that better addresses our limitations. McKinnie is still young and played 72 games last year. He's acquainted with Cook for that 2nd unit tandem and on the dubs last year was one of their defensive standouts on the wing.

His current deal is nonguaranteed and he's a restricted free agent this coming summer with a cap hold of just 2m, so he still can be used as a decent trade chip vs Dudz or Daniels expiring deals at the deadline.

Obviously we would have to claim him off waivers to acquire his current deal, but I would put in a bid for it and cut Daniels or Dudz in the process. McKinnie could back up Bron at the 3 and Kuz would back up AD at the 4. I trust that more than Daniels or Dudz helping Kuz back up our 3/4 duo. Wait on an Iggy buyout and replace the survivor of Daniels/Dudz with that roster spot.

For those that are wondering why McKinnie was waived when the dubs had an available roster spot still...#HardcapProblems
