I agree with B. Scott all the way. However, if by some miracle Lebron leads us to three titles in a row starting this year I might have to reconsider.

I can never put him ahead of lifelong Lakers like Kobe or Magic. He won't play with us during his prime long enough.

I can't really either. But . . . if he gets us three in a row as I said I might have to think about it a little.

If he pulls a Kareem and plays until he is 41+- and we win 3 rings with him and we end out being set up with AD to keep going after that, then sure, by all means my opinion will change. Short of that, he is at best the next tier, which is still pretty awesome. All about the rings, ain't gonna reward him, or slight him, yet. But if those rings come, sure ain't gonna slight him then.

But even then, at that age he’ll be a complementary star at best, so that also removes them from the best Laker discussion.

But to be fair, yes, let’s give him time.

James' G.O.A.T. status resides in Cleveland where he will "officially" retire.

Bad question. TMZ just creating content, while crossing its fingers for controversy.

I would not want to work for TMZ. Not the G.O.A.T.

Going to be incredibly fun to watch. Last year LeBron had to kill himself to get into the paint, this year should be much more space.

Enjoyed the early chemistry between he and AD. They're going to make it very easy for one another.

If AD stays the #1 option, as he should, then Bron should not have a problem leading the league in assists this year.

So AvBrad is our starting 2, Green our starting 3, making Bron our starting point.

I can get behind the defensive tone in starting games this way and potentially closing games that way too. But I can’t f*** with Bron getting serious run at that role/usage for significant portions of the game during the regular season. Bron goes down to injury and no one can fill that space...our house of guards collapses.

As for the dubs/Rox model and shoot shoot shooting your opponents away, I’m happy to see us breaking that small man complex and riding our own wave by knuckling up and using our smash mouth lengf ftw!

This is why we have the Bald Eagle. Plays a steady, controlled, smart game within himself. Andre Miller wasn't the most athletic dude and had a nice career. Not really comparing them but just saying AC not prototypically most athletic or a speed demon like Zo at the position but looks like he is now NBA ready. Throw in the above average D for a PG, his length and the fact he can shoot and finish multiple ways at the rim .... and seems a no brainer.

I don't think he looked old at all. Had some really nice moves penetrating to the basket. He just did not play much.
