I think he can be, but he would have to improve on his rookie 3 point % numbers in order to do so. He will probably never be a great defender, but he showed improvement last year and if he can even have another small jump in that area that would be huge for him. Main thing with him is he just has to be consistent, we have all seen the flashes.

There's no need to apologize, I think you're actually agreeing to what I said.

I like Kuz, but he needs a lot of work, especially on threes and D. His versatility in the scoring department though is outstanding. He's a really nice player, a great find at the 27th pick, and I'm glad we got to keep him. He's a nice fit alongside Lebron offensively.

Scoring punch? Yes... Star? No. As stated already above Kuzma's a fit who can move without the ball for makes.

If he had a good, reliable 3-pt shot, perhaps. He does have the attitude and swagger of a star player, not everyone has that.

I don't think he's ever going to be an elite defender unfortunately, but if could just improve and become proficient on defense then score 20+ @ 50% with 7 rebounds 4ast 2.5 blocks.

It's a lot to ask.. lol.

Kid shot damn near 37% on high attempts his first year, anyone know why this dipped to 30%? it seemed like if we had a coach staff geared for shooting that this would not happen. The one big difference was he played more games as a starter his 2nd year. If so, having both LBJ and AD should help him out here and just natural development assuming he is also shooting thousands of 3s this summer.

Regression to the mean? If you look at what he shot from 3-point land in college, you will see this who he is at this point.

Do I think Kuz can improve? Yes, I do. He’s going to have to if he wants to play. From shooting to defense. Vogel’s defense will be no joke and these guys will be held accountable. None of the crap that went on last year.

I think he'll be a perfect complement to what we're building but Star is a little far because he's going to be over shadowed by LeBron and AD, maybe once LeBron leaves or retire he'll have his shot. I do think he'll be way more efficient this year and hopefully improve on his defense. He also needs to get stronger

Bump. I think Boogie go down should give Kuz the chance to start.

Can't SF ..... as they still have McGee and Howard replacing Boogie now both to man the starting 5.

I think he'll likely finish games though. We could conceivably finish games with AD/Kuz/Lebron/Green/Bradley or Dwight/AD/Kuz/Bradley/Lebron

I was talking more so in terms of IF Boogie was fully healthy&started, his offensive fire power loss could allow for Kuz to start.

    Time will tell.

I think he had a crush on DLO in his early 20s.
