Sorry for the interruption, but I broke LB while upgrading it's security so LB was down for a bit. If you'll notice, LB no longer says Un-Secure Website at the top, and now has the "secure" lock in the browser window.

++++++++++++ Vasashi17 has been banned ++++++++++++++++ After many many months of trying to rectify his conduct via private messaging, he would not comply, so LB's staff have decided to BAN Vasashi17 from LB for multiple and continued violations of site rules: 2. Excessive Baiting Is Prohibited- Members may not attempt to goad other members by making posts in an attempt to make fun of, ridicule, or incite the anger of another member. 3. Trolling Is Prohibited- Trolling here is defined by a post or topic being all three of the following: A. Inflammatory B. Off Topic and or Extraneous C. Likely to provoke readers into further emotional and off topic responses. 4. Excessive Passive Aggressiveness- Passive Aggressive posts aimed at a member are a form of baiting. If you have something to say to someone, please just say it directly or don’t say it at all. 5. Personal Attacks- Members may not make personal attacks against another member. A personal attack consists of talking about another member rather than that member’s post or an idea they presented, in an attempt to ridicule them personally. 6. Excessive Group Attack- Derisively accusing a member of being a part of a group that they have not claimed to be a part of is prohibited. For example “Kobe jocker”, “Kobe fan”, “Liberal”, or “Conservative”, etc… 9. Disagreement Resolution- Resolve all Member and Staff Problems Via the Conversations feature in the inbox. Members come here for discussions, not to read other people’s arguments. In the end Vasashi17's conduct was the common factor in innumerable arguments and fights over the past year, so we could no allow it to continue to bring down the site. We appreciate site contributors, but no one is above the rules.
Crap. I guess I need to brush up on capology. on a serious note, I understand the decision completely. He did push the boundaries a lot this past year. And I don’t remember him being like that the rest of the time he was a valued member here or at CL. It leaves me wondering What happened??? if something changed in his life to cause that personality shift, I hope he finds healing from it. The old Vasashi was amazing, and the guy is a freaking genius on wordplay. The positives he brought to the board were great, and I’ll miss those. At the end of the day, on message boards and in life, when our negatives outweigh the positives, changes happen whether we want them to or not. Just today he sent me a PM about something and was very considerate. I really appreciated that, and we’ve had our own battles in the past. I even had him muted for awhile when I needed a break. Today is a bittersweet day for me. I’d rather we had the old Vasashi back, but If that wasn’t an option, I respect the forum leadership’s decision for the overall good of the site.
