    I love these charts. It's fun to watch a team all of a sudden shoot up and then look at the year. Like on this one, all of a sudden the Bulls start jumping everyone like gangbusters and it's like, "What the...oh yeah...Jordan."

    Aside from the Lakers it's like:

    "JORDAN!"
    "DUNCAN!"
    ...
    ...
    "HARDEN?"

    What's nuts is you look at all those teams, and the Thunder/Sonics are fifth, and they haven't won a title in 40 years. That's a lot of playoff runs with nothing to show for it.

    Pretty cool, but tough to watch the last 6 years with Boston and the Spurs creeping up on us.

    I love these things, its crazy how consistent Lakers have been through the history of the league. We gotta get back on it though, Spurs and C Bags are within 100.

    weird because several sources including NBA.com are showing 43 nationally televised games for the Lakers and much more for many of the teams.

    Note: I just noticed these sources are counting NBA TV as nationally televised and the Lakers have 12 on NBA TV. I'm assuming these must be free ones that you don't need to have League Pass for. If so they should count if TNT counts.

    I like that our end of the year schedule is easier. It will help if we choose to rest players for the playoffs.

    Boy we have some ROUGH parts of the schedule that I'm not looking forward to:

    November 22 to Dec 19:

    @OKC
    @MEM
    @SAS
    @NOP
    WAS
    DAL
    @DEN
    @UTA (2nd night of a b2b)
    @POR
    MIN
    @ORL
    @MIA
    @ATL
    @Ind
    @MIL

    Fricking 12 of 15 on the road and for a team with a lot of new faces, this could be bad

    January 18 to February 8:

    @HOU
    @BOS
    @NYK
    @BKN
    @PHI
    LAC
    POR
    @SAC (2nd night of b2b and these a******* always play us tough like its 2002 still)
    SAS
    HOU
    @GSW

    March 1 to March 18:

    @NOP
    PHI
    MIL
    @LAC
    BKN
    HOU
    DEN
    @UTA (2nd night of a b2b again WTF)
    UTA

    There are some very cakey parts of the schedule but it's going to be brutal in some parts of the schedule. I hope if we have any injuries it is NOT during these brutal parts of the schedule!!!

    I’m looking forward to all of it, especially the rough patches. Been dying to see a competitive Lakers team compete against tough teams on tough road trips. Those situations are what have been most satisfying in the past when we actually had a good team.

    I always like these schedule breakdowns that Mike does:

    Best Part?
    I absolutely love that our season starts out easy and ends easy compared to last year. This is a blessing because I want our first month or so to be easier because while I think our team is going to mesh well I'd rather spend that first month really ironing things out against easier opponents. Then to end the year with an easier schedule gives us the advantage where if we fighting for playoff seeding we have that advantage.

    Some other fun schedule info bits:

    Yeah only problem is bullk of our injuries happened in the middle of the season - and that is where we have the toughest part of our schedule.

    Scheduling debate seems like nothing but whining to me for some reason. if you are going to be a champion, you don't care what's on the schedule. You are going to crush them all. Bring it on.

    I hope I never once hear our players cry about the schedule, or I'll immediately put them in Dwight Howard Champion category mentally.

    That being said, starting off easy and finishing easy works for me.

    :Laugh:
