I actually like our standard purple jerseys. Didn't at first but that black stripe down the side is growing on me. These city jerseys I do not like at all. Ugly.
They’ll keep changing designs every couple of years so fans keep buying them. I’m over the jersey thing. Just not worth it anymore when your roster is a revolving turn style.

You're right. Maybe I should've STFU if i didn't like them but they remind me too much of a Dodgers look. Maybe they'll purposely bring em' out because of that(please God,3X a charm,yes I'm an LAD fan) At first the showtime lakers look, looked weird to me but that's because under the lights they were so bright and looked weird. But they're clean under the right lighting.
It’s just an alternate to be broken out once in a while. My first priority would be for them to change from highlighter yellow back to Lakers gold, and for us to use purple more. As an alternate jersey though aside from home white, I’d prefer these blue ones or the MPLS blue ones to the pinstripe purple ones. Or a black version again, those were sweet.
I'm a nobody but I vote for OG yellow/purp&an occasional all white&blacks. Those blue jerseys are cheesy IMO,but again, I'm a nobody. Lakers never even had a LEGIT legacy with those blues did they? How many chips they win with those jerseys?
With the throwback MPLS jerseys? I don’t know that those were original colors, they might have been later or just an alternate. They did have a baby blue and gold version that just said “Lakers”, basically UCLA colors, but I think they might have also had white, most photos are black and white so it’s hard to tell. In Minny obviously they won 5 titles, but again, I don’t know in what all specific uniforms, but there is a legacy with all those ones. Not so much with the blue Los Angeles ones though, those were the original jerseys when they moved to LA, and they didn’t win until ‘72 in purple and gold.
I hope we don't bring back those ugly purple jerseys... I was like WTF most of last season. At home its gold and on the road its purple (without stripes etc.). Simple and plain. It was an absolutely idiotic idea to sell another version of the jesey..just uglier. You don't mess with history. worst jersey ever!
Aren’t each of these supposed to be special/tribute jerseys anyways? They definitely should be coming up with a new one.
They City Edition jerseys are the ones that change every year. They're designed and inspired by former Lakers legends. The first one was the Black Mamba ones with the snakeskin and last year were those ugly ones inspired by Magic.
