Damn, that’s a super solid hire. Wasn’t he that guy Kawhi liked? Guess he chose wrong. Now the only weak link and pointless coaching staff hire is Kidd. If anyone should be compared to Littlefinger it’s him.
Yeah he's a well renowned developmental coach, he helped mold Kyrie, siakam etc to the next level. Kuzma, THT, AD etc is next!!!
Hey, maybe he can bring Ka... wait. If he can help Kuz take that next step like the step Siakim took, league better watch out.
In addition to Kuzma, I'd like to see what he can do with the other young guys on the roster like Caruso, Cook, TLT, etc. Those two way signings as well. If just one of these becomes a valuable addition to the championship rotation down the road, this hiring will have paid for itself.
There has been some talk about how Vogel has spent the past few years studying and revamping his offensive philosophies to match the modern NBA. But yeah, regardless I would feel more comfortable rounding out the staff with someone who is known as an offensive X and O guy. Not quite sure who that would be, but even if hypothetically Vogel has become an offensive mastermind it wouldn’t hurt to have another offensive guru to collaborate with.
Who cares ...dude is a #4 coach. Low key how many do you need. Almost smells like too many coaches in the kitchen. IMO, they're having guys specialize in areas which is good.
