[Youngmisuk] Ron Adams has turned down an assistant-coaching job with the Los Angeles Lakers and will remain in a revised role on the Golden State Warriors coaching staff, league sources told ESPN.

I almost feel sorry for OKC. After having Harden, Westbrook and Durant and losing them all. Gotta feel s***ty to be a fan of that team and see the room getting drained.

Not sure how RW to Houston would work. No way OKC takes Paul, right?? They want salary relief. They would shave 1 year off with Paul's contract vs RW's but would take a huge step down in terms of productivity.

Great, now time to make him regret that decision by beating GSW into submission.

Feel bad for the fans, not the team or its owners in particular at all. You can't be cheap and have success in this league. They lucked into some extremely talented players and BLEW it in historical fashion. This team doesn't deserve any better.

There you go. Another club comes knocking means he gets bumped up to new title (revised role) and more money if they want him to stay. If the Lakers ever lose Ryan West I will go out of my ******g mind. If someone came and wanted him for GM or higher Jeanie damn well better give him whatever to keep him. The sooner the better. On her own would be smarter and a better look.

Except Lebron likes KCP and KCP doesn't want to be traded right now and he's Rich Paul's client

The exception will be if we under use KCP (quite possible) and he wants to go somewhere where else to get more play. However since he's got 2 years on his deal now, he may just go with the flow year 1 of this 2-year deal if we are hot or may not depends on his play time and his attitude about it. He wasn't happy at some point last season and Rob did look for a new home for him but they couldn't find any deal so it's possible still that he goes at some point. Just a bit unlikely we can find a suitable trade though you never know.

Thankfully Lethal Shooter is here now and responsible for already haven given us an improved offensive KCP. Up to Vogel and staff to make him recapture his defensive reputation from Detroit days.

Looks like Reggie will be taking the room

I wish we could have gotten him for the room and signed Avery with the money we gave Cook since him and Daniels are nearly the same guy. Still like Cook more though, has been useful in the finals

Before we ever got KCP it was well reported he was LBJ's guy. It's quite obvious he is by now anyways. He's here isn't he?

Westbrook to Houston, Paul to OKC?

Not even that many picks for OKC. Crazy!

Yeah, wild. My hate level for Houston just went down a little, Chris Paul will never win a title, and Harden and Westbrook will clash so bad. At least Paul could shoot.

How many picks does OKC have now over the next 5 or 6 years? Like 50?

OKC is f***ing killing it, those picks and swaps can be worth a lot from 2024-2026. Harden 37, likely retired, gone, or about to be gone. Russ is 38, done by then

I feel like this is a lateral move. Like, does Houston or OKC really end up being BETTER record wise from this?

I mean Harden and Westbrook know each other, but still........
