Ballmer made his bed ..... laying with snakes. Hope our front line brings the pain and roughs them up in the key every time we play.
Awesome. I think it was argued as well AD giving up his trade kicker (which made no ethical sense anyway since he forced the unpopular trade from NO point of view) ..... was not a good decision. Bad use of strategic cap space. AD seems to have been in the perfect place with his thinking.

I wouldn’t put it past one or both of Kawhi and Paul George to seriously consider signing with the Lakers in 2021 if LeBron chooses to come off the books instead of opting into that $41m 2021 salary.

Kawhi will be 30 and PG will be 31 then. I doubt Kawhi’s injury is starting to miraculously go away and PG’s shoulders have only gotten stronger by then. They can both go to hell, and the Clippers can enjoy paying 34-35 year old Kawhi and PG $40-some mil per year.

Kawhi would still be in his prime at 30 and 3 years younger than LeBron was when he signed with us.

We will see. He had an entire year off, and then hand to be on load management all last season and by the Finals he was still dragging that leg around. I wanted Kawhi, of course, but the possibility of a “calcified quad muscle” is not so easy to dismiss over time. Load management and only playing 60 games might have worked fine in the East too, but we’ll see how it works in the ultra competitive West and how ping fans and the FO are good with that if home court starts to be on the line. Again, in closing, Kawhi and PG can go to hell, I’m never going through a round of free agency with those snakes again.

I wish the other team well and good health, and I support guys doing what is best for them and their families.

I hope we conducted business in a way that leaves the door open for future possibilities. I think that’s important for a class act organization. It’s not the last time we’ll be spurned.

However, I want to smash those guys at their full strength with no excuses and allow them the opportunity to regret their decision convincingly.

It’s not personal, it’s just business.

I don't want Dookie Leonard or Paul George on the Lakers. They each crapped on the team in their own way and they are dead to me. My only worry is that they will try to snake Giannis to the Clippers in 2021.

I don't think Giannis will leave Milwaukee at all, but if he does, a lot of people think it would be to the Lakers. As long as those two, especially Dookie, are still around, they could obviously try to collude with Ballmer's front office to lure GIannis to the L.A. JV team.

nothing personal against PG anymore, from the stories we hear from Mr. Rambis maybe it was more trouble than its worth to us/pg due to the tampering issues. But man Leonard straight played us, feels just like how Demps wasn't going to deal with us in good faith over AD trade no matter what.

Careful, such logical posts and comparison to our roster, in a negative way, may get you banished right now. Too much butt hurt around here.

I don't know that it had to do with us as much as Lebron playing for us. Some players are just not a good fit together. They essentially are playing a similar role as each other, and one would undoubtedly overshadow the other just via personality. If he viewed going to the Clippers better than going back to Canada vs playing for us, it is what it is.

Mr Lebron is a polarizing figure. But yes, because he held out leverage til the last minute, it felt a little dirty. But if you are in his shoes, you may play it similarly to your own benefit. I don't think he could make the final decision until he could determine they couldn't pull off the PG trade. I don't think it was malicious, but as fans, it's easy to interpret it that way.
