I really love him as our starting point guard on paper. Capable of creating a shot if needed, but really is there to just dog other guards and make open threes. He's capable of taking on a bigger role in a limited fashion of we're sitting one of the stars. I know we've got a crazy point guard battle brewing, but this guy should still be our starter given his versatility.
All indications right now are that the Grizz are looking to trade Iggy & won't waive him.. Can't wait to see on that & let someone like Bradley slip away when we need perimeter Defense.
He averaged that in 14 games with Memphis. In 50 games with the Clippers with the same playing time, he put up 8 points, 2 assists, 38% from the field, 33% from three. I’m not as high on this as most of you I guess. I don’t think he’s the same player he used to be on either offense or defense, despite a small sample of good games in Memphis. Most importantly though, I just don’t see where he fits in the rotation. Felt like we needed a 3 or 4 with the room exception. Was really holding out hope for Iggy.
Saw a few missed layups in here. Got to focus those up a little bit there my man. Looks like we got a new Derek Fisher.
Guys, Iggy is NOT an option right now. We needed another guard and Bradley was probably at the top of my list. Iggy could still make his way here for vet's min especially if he gets bought out...he's made his $ and if LeBron/AD call to recruit him? Does he really say no?
On memphis he looked like the old bradley. I think in the right situation he will put up 15pts 4 ast and a steal no problem. He will get a lot of open looks on this team. Plus he still plays defense with toughness, the kind that is contagious
Kawhi did. But really though, Iggy was looking our way after waiting for a buyout. Unless Memphis trades him elsewhere, he’ll be looking out way most likely and we’ll easily drop someone for him.
Good signing. I think him more as a defensive specialist than starting PG. Although Haynes just tweeted that Lebron is going to be the starting Point Guard. My hope is Caruso gets a chance to start.
Rolling in the deeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Guard rotation is going to be crazy and a few guys might have to buy into sacrificing playing time for the greater good. Wonder if any of the guards get pushed up into the 3, KCP? Green?
well, guys get hurt, so a lot of that will sort itself out. but yes, i could see green especially logging minutes at the three. most teams don't play bruisers at sf, so it's not a huge deal to be slightly undersized there.
I believe so. I know we kicked the tires again yesterday on Iggy and Memphis according to @Mr. Rambis but MEM from all reports doesn't want to waive him and if anything plan on trading him if it comes to it. I think we understood that and ultimately turned our attention to Bradley. I would still love Iggy with the vet min which is what we would have to offer him but I think he's looking for a little more. HOU and LAC still have more they can offer players then the vet min so I'm concerned with that. Hopefully he's still real close with Rob and that becomes a factor if he does get waived or becomes available over the course of the year.
Good get, especially this late in free agency. Man, we're going to be mean defensively. Hopefully he's trending back to his old self. Defense and shooting have been heavily addressed this summer. Such a strange concept for us. Regarding the minutes, y'all got to remember they'll all get bumped up during load management.
