Great news. This is my best FA news. He is a solid solid combo guard. A little short but tough defender and solid shooter.
Unbelievable pick-up. I'm hyped. This is EXACTLY who I wanted as our starting guard. He can shoot, defend and he's TOUGH. And he's goin to be HYPED playing for a championship. Unreal pick-up. Bravo Rob. BRAVO.
Good signing. I know it doesn't fit the narrative, but the Lake Show is putting together a pretty deep team. Also, we could sign '96 Michael Jordan and people would say "Lol washed" "Not even making the playoffs" "He trash" etc.
Bradley hasn't been good since he left Boston: not sure how much of it was not having a good system, injuries, to getting the big contract. I like the signing but only if it doesn't prevent the Lakers from getting Igoudala who obviously is a much better player then Bradley, KCP, Rondo and even Green (there's no roster spots once the Lakers sign THT now?)
Breaking up our 32.14m in cap space before the AD trade would yield a max of 33.94m of potential spending power. So it appears that Boogie or Cook is a vet min contract and/or Caruso was renounced and signed the vet min cause I don't see how the full room exception was available to get AvBradley. Of course, the detailed contracts haven't been released yet, so there has to be something in the fine details. That being said, great pick up by Rob here. He's not the perimeter defender he used to be, but he does provide us yet another 2way option on the perimeter along side Green, Kcp and Caruso. I think him, Green and Rondo will be great defensive deterrents in the playoffs. This puts us at 14 and I'm not sure Iggy takes that final roster spot for the vet min if he gets bought out. I guess it's now down to Melo.
Stop bringing up Iggy. The Grizzlies are obviously not buying him out. They are looking at him as a trade bait to the contender. We don't have time to wait a around for all that BS. This is a HUGE signing!
We better stay the hell away from Melo. Go and get Korver with that last spot or just keep it open for more buyouts later on. Of course...if Iggy becomes available, you gotta have LeBron and AD and COUSINS convince him to sign here and take down the Big Bad Clippers (whom everyone has pegged as NBA champions already, which I love...put the pressure on them let them be the villains)
