I woke up pissed about Kawhi playing us for fools. But now that we’re assembling our squad there’s only one thing left to do...

 

Really liking our Plan B execution. Only players I'm not thrilled about are on Vet Min deals, so no major complaints.
I don't hate KCP as much as most here. Would've rather went after Bradley, but who knows, maybe we still do & KCP is just trade bait..??

 

agree on KCP, I actually like him a little, so not tripping on the surcharge. I am cool with the vet min deals, at least they can shoot, and given our new depth, it pushes them down the bench. would really like to spend the rest of our cash trying to acquire assets/chips to start replenishing our empty cupboards. we can always round out the roster later in the year. Morris is an asset and a good fit.

 

^^ Would love Morris.. He just may be out of our price range with the Mavs lurking.

 

I love our acquisitions. AD and Boogie know each other well. Plus we're very long now with Javale Mcgee also.

Quinn Cook was quiet but nice pick up. He can shoot the 3 well when needed.

I'm with you Jazz.. This is a very balanced roster.
As exciting as the prospect of a Big 3 with Kawhi was, I'm starting to see why most analysts suggested the Lakers use their space on depth.
This appears to be a very balanced Roster, with 2 MegaStars, 2-4 Tier 2 Players in Kuzma, Green, McGee & Cousins & serviceable vets & shooters to round it out. Not everything went 100% our way, but this Team should do some damage..!!!

 

This line up is a good coaches dream. You could do almost anything. I think we will see KCP be much more effective. Defensively with a good system and rim protection we can be deadly. Players buy in and develop good chemistry it is going to be amazing. After studying ADs game closer he is even better than I thought. Pretty excited.
