    on to the 2020 plan now... need to surround AD with more talent, this squad ain't gonna cut it... good enough, assuming everyone stays healthy, to make the playoffs, which is the first hoop to jump through... maybe we make some sort of move at the trade deadline, who knows, but this is not a team that will be playing in june...

    Some guys said “tin foil hat” to me when I called this 6 days ago. West, Doc, Balmer - never underestimated them and certainly thought they were capable of getting him and hurting our FA chances purposefully through his cooperation

    i think had they not traded for george, kawhi's a laker. and i'm guessing it took a few days to get the george trade ironed out.

    my WMC is that the clippers are a thing now. that sucks pretty hard, actually. otherwise, meh. we got davis.

    The 2020 free agent class is absolutely awful. 2021 is the next jackpot class.

    Man. I can’t sleep guys. I’m so hurt, depressed, I cannot believe the absolutely worst case scenario happened to my beloved lakers. Objectively, I really really don’t think we stack up against the clippers. They have 2 superstar wings... 2 way players... the best at their position. They have a much better supporting cast. I have never been so pissed off in my life and only a championship can erase all of my pain right now. I’m livid and idk what to do anymore. How in the world do we beat the clippers now? Gosh this is depressing me so damn much I can’t take it

    Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, etc. Lob City was good too. Beat us like 15 out of 18 at one stretch. No chips.

    What worries me here is West. Had me worried all week.

    Lakers need some dawgs now. Hope Iggy doesn’t go there too.

    Pretty astounding. I have to believe the Clippers are still going to suck failure. They are the Clippers. It’s what they do.

    The big name franchises in NY and LA got screwed over in free agency by players who decided to go to the little brother teams in those markets instead.

    I don’t buy Leonard’s excuse of not wanting to build a super team. The dude begged West and Ballmer to get him an all-star!

    The Lakers are the crown jewel of the NBA. Some people can handle the pressure and the weight of the legacy and some cannot.

    If there is a silver lining to this, it’s that Russell Westbrook must be PISSED now.

    It will be interesting to look back long term and see the results of this trade. Will OKC get better players with all these unprotected picks then the players we originally offered for Paul George. I would tend to believe the picks, even though unprotected will be late first rounds.

    My WMC is all the OMG Jerry West is a God again nonsense.

    Kawhi told the clippers he wanted PG. PG and Kawhi made the deal. PG didn't want to be pimped by Russ anymore and wanted a new Daddy. OKC basically gave PG away. The Clippers gave away a bunch of sh** we would of gotten killed for, wait we did get killed for in the media, but apparently PG is as impressive as AD? Kudos to the Clippers for making a no brainer deal to get two major talents BUT it was the players and an idiot in OKC who made this happen. No matter what our FO does some people will be like "they fk up" when in reality the Lakers had a plan and a plan B if Kawhi didn't sign. They are rounding out our roster nicely too. The paperclips will always be the paperclips Kawhi and his new bottom chick or not.
