    I agree with you that Pelinka knows the cap. I've posted as much in the Pelinka thread.

    But this is a pretty subtle nuance to the CBA that I will be annoyed if he doesn't use to gain us extra cap space. This isn't something we are going to be able to do again anytime soon.

    Man this team really did not get much better (in FA)... we had our hopes way too high. Of course AD is amazing but the team was so bad even LeBron couldn’t carry them to the playoffs...

    @LA Bron No idea.. Pelinka is a cap expert so if anyone can figure it out it's him. But like I said, it's really just the Lakers exploring all angles. They don't expect much, hence them using up their cap right now.
