yes, certain words are what is commonly called "trigger words"

One must use discretion before just willy nilly firing away using them on a message board.

I can't imagine Kawhi announcing it today tbh. He has to technically still meet with the teams and hear their pitches right. It's a tough decision, he's potentially leaving a situation with supreme stability where you basically know what you're gonna get along with the mystery box that is Pascal Siakam who might very well develop into a second team caliber player next year.

And the situation he's jumping into is quite possibly the most 3rd most volatile front office in the league after the Knicks and the Suns with 2 other supernova stars where you're not entirely sure how the touches will play out. Not to mention Nick Nurse is another one of these next generation of coaches who know what the f*** is up and is actually innovative while Vogel is a guy who f***ed up his boy Jonathan Simmons' situation in Orlando because he was still transitioning from playing smashmouth caveman basketball.

I think out of everyone we should expect Kawhi to take a while given he has the most reason to think about things from an organizational standpoint that a player of lesser caliber is too busy worried about their own talent and role to think about. Someone like Javale doesn't care much about front office stability and the coaching staff because he's just out here tryna get minutes so he can get paid. Kawhi has to think a lot more about what situation he's getting himself into because he can control so much of what's going on when he gets there.

He doesn't "need" to meet with teams. He knows all about the Raptors, and considering the last week he has been doing a lot of information digging on the Lakers, I'm sure he is well equipped already.

You’re right, and I’m not in Kawhi’s shoes, but if I were Kawhi, I’d think between myself, LeGM and AD, those b****es are going to do what we tell them to do.

I think he does from the optics perspective of the Lakers. Even though tampering has been going on with reckless abandon, there's clearly a double standard when it comes to the Lakers to the point that just from a narrative standpoint they'd wanna do the official official pitch during the moratorium and have Kawhi decide. Also, a lot of these bigger guys don't have such a neck and neck situation as Kawhi to make. The moves for Kemba, Butler, and KD were all easier decisions imo that they could've been negotiated. Kawhi's the one leaving a defending champ here to potentially create the GOAT superteam.

    ****** Official LB Notice ******

With so many new members joining to see what insights Mr. Rambis would be so kind to share, I decided it made sense to ask him for some kind of verification of his connections with AEG to make sure this wasn't just the greatest troll job in history.

Mr. Rambis did indeed share something to myself and a few choice staff, that has verified him as having deep connections within AEG. What he shared will not be revealed because it could compromise his business and connections within AEG.

Mr. Rambis is now officially verified by Lakersball.com

Note: This doesn't mean everything Mr. Rambis speculates will come to fruition with 100% certainty. It just means he is who he says he is and he does have the connections he has professed.

Thank you @Barnstable for everything! I hope now we can focus all our attention on an exciting free agency period coming up ahead, hopefully kick started by a Kawhi Leonard deal! I feel this is the first time in several years I'm really excited for this upcoming Lakers season!

    Best Regards,
    Mr. Rambis
