    The fact that Durant has made up his mind and plans to announce tonight means he's not going to the Clippers. It also means Kawhi is almost certainly NOT factoring into his decision. Not that I ever considered that a real threat, but I find this news reassuring.

    Yes, we do. We need a legit center to play defense and rebound, step in for AD when he’s resting or play alongside him to try and help minimize the beating his body takes at C if we hope to try and stop him getting so many nagging little injuries. I hope to keep McGee, but we have no guarantee, and the pool of centers that fit this mold is not huge.

    This honestly would be good news, it would be the end of the Warriors owning the league, and the league would be wide open for more than the one year that he’s out recovering. It would also be hilarious that the Knicks traded Porzingis for nothing.

    it'll really suck to lose out on kawhi but let's not forget about AD AND LBJ

    not to mention that 30 mil or whatever can be used to bring in a bunch of shooters and depth guys

    That's a lot of cheddar for Brook. If Kawhi leaves, Bucks are the favorite in the East. If KD goes to Nets. He's out a year and Kyrie isn't enough.

    Right, if we miss on Kawhi it will suck for sure, but we will have 32 mil in cap space to go after really good players to fill out the roster. Every other top team in the NBA will also only have 2 superstars at most as well and it will be a pretty wide open playing field.
