    This feels more like last year’s Lebron free agency than PG. This time last year the media was still confident he’d stay in Cleveland. TRD reminded us earlier that Woj reported Bron’s serious interest in Philly the same day he announced he was signing with the Lakers.

    I wouldn't blame the Lakers to be honest. There's no accounting for taste. We've done literally everything right, but sometimes that doesn't matter.

    Last year we did everything right to clear space for LeBron and Paul George, but George didn't even take a meeting. At least this year we're getting a meeting (or two or three who knows). Hopefully Kawhi sees reason but it's possible he makes a bad choice here.

    Incredible that the Clippers wanted Kawhi so bad they tricked themselves into believing they had a real shot and somehow willed the media into believing it too. Meanwhile Kawhi said NOTHING about that godforsaken team.

    Everyone: Kawhi to the Lakers is a serious threat and maybe the top threat to Toronto.

    Woj: Kawhi and KD are discussing teaming up.

    Makes sense. A guy like Kawhi who’s interested in load management will team up with a guy who will be out next year and coming back from an Achilles afterwards.

    There’s a reason KD isn’t interested in the Lakers and the Lakers aren’t interested in KD....

    No one wants to wait a year to see how you come back. We all had high hopes for Kobe and it was just never the same. Teams like NY, Brooklyn and Clips can take that chance because who else would they be getting any way?

    Kawhi fits more in the Lakers category rather than the other teams. He probably doesn’t want to commit to the unknown of him carrying a team for what one maybe two or hell maybe for the duration of the contracts KD and him sign. That’s cool with a guy like Kyrie or going back to GSW with Steph/Klay, but man that just doesn’t fit with Kawhi.

    AD will consent with a cbag trade to team-up with Ky ...no wait

    Ky and KD want to team-up with each other instead of Ky going to LA to team up with AD...no wait

    Kawhi is a superteam dynasty killer and doesn't want to team-up...no wait

    Kawhi will entertain the possibility of a team up with Butler or KD instead of entertaining the reality of teaming up with Bron/AD...in his own f***ing hometown.

    KD isnt interested in the Lakers because Lebron is here. He would get it worse with his dynasty jumping. Might as well stay in GS if that were the case.

    It really feels like Ky is conflicted but I think he chooses BK over us.

    Butler is wild card, either being Philly, Mia, Htown or cLip bound.

    KD is BK or Knicks bound.
