Meanwhile 5 months ago, we didn't have AD and had a better chance at Klay...

    Cool story Woj.

Bobby Marks said on SC that this deal would not work 1 for 1, Houston would need a third team involved, for the reasons you listed. So yeah, good luck Houston indeed, tampering pieces of crap.

So..does this basically confirm Woj is out to get us or..? Super confused how Kawhi’s focus remained “unchanged” from coming to the Lakers last July plus this Klay story, and now it’s Clippers Clippers Clippers.

Big ol' doubt on that one.

Is the deal that Woj has to just say the most ridiculous things about the Clippers? This is honestly preposterous. Like a cartoon or something.

Lol Klay is good friends with AD and I'm pretty sure him, and LeBron are cool too! Aren't they doing space jam 2 together also Klay just started following

... Therefore I'm pretty sure it's Lakers that he's interested in not clippers. Someone needs to ask Klays dad about these silly rumors

    Wait...#Rewind that back...

The Lakers are "rooting" to have Bron's guy, Kyrie, sign with BK to have DLo renounced. Uh, how about just getting Kyrie...you know the guy Bron wants and that you, Woj, reported loudly that AD was hoping to team up with in Boston. Why not team up in LA?

    Narratives stay wild.

Of all the things that Woj has said, this is the most hilarious. To so conspicuously not mention the Lakers while hyping the Clippers for Klay Thompson, the son of a former Laker. Just hysterical.

Anyway where we take on a bad deal to get Eric Gordon if HOU is trying to get Jimmy? Not likely I know, but he would be a great guard ball handler/creator.

Phi get assets from the team we take on bad contract. Hou gets Jimmy. We get Gordon and bad contract. 4th team gets cap space

Wolves: Take on Dieng. Why: Free up space for DLO
Nuggets: Take on Plumlee. Why: Free up some cap space, bring back Milsap and get a starting sf.
Blazers: Take on Myers Leonard. Why: Gives them some big savings in terms of luxury tax, maybe some flexibility.

We can likely get cut out, but just thinking

I think this is a good point. They made the same one on Locked on Lakers a couple days ago, if we sign Russ, we need to not overpay. A lot of suitors for him have disappeared over the last week. If we don’t land a true max guy and we end up with Russ for $20 mil or less per year, it’s a really good deal and we’d still have a good amount left to add to the rest of the roster.

I really like DLo... just don't give him the max. My son and I watched a lot of BKN games last season. He looked really good and I think he will only get better. He has a real natural way about his game. Never looks forced. Under $20MM would be a steal.

Wait why would IND be out? Do they not have cap space anymore?

    But is this realistic?

Suns with his good friend Booker
Wolves can try to free up space and good friend KAT
Indi still has or can get space no?
    C Bags even?

DLO at 22-25M>Kemba/Jimmy at 32M, even maybe better than Kyrie at 32M (especially b/c of injury issues and thin depth).

    Suns don't have cap space
    Wolves don't have cap space
Indy I believe does have it but I think getting TJ Warren cut into it and they may be below the max now
C's don't have it yet becuase they need to renounce Terry Rozier...and even if they DO have it...they're going after kemba first.

There's a real case here that D-Lo could be had for $20M or less...which would be a HUGE coup for us

Is there a team out there that would give Dlo the max? Knicks? Once Durant and Kyrie don't go there?
