Gotcha! In writing. Can be used when you want on the Supreme Court there. No more stirring up trouble for me .... I do fine on my own.

That quote is attributed to Ric Bucher. He doesn't know anything, he's just guessing.

He also knows as much as anyone what a winning locker room culture looks like.

The reports of some mutual interest between DLo and the Lakers has made its way to Woj. He was just on Sportscenter. Not really anything further than the reports we've already heard, but it has gone beyond just an internet rumor.

I'm kinda warming up to getting D'Angelo back. I liked him when we was with us, sure he had his immature moments, but he certainly looked like he turned a corner on Brooklyn. He can create for himself, got good size for a combo guard, and still young.

If Kawhi/Kyrie doesn't work out, he's now my third option. Jimmy just doesn't move the needle for me, he SHOULD have pushed teams like Minnesota or definitely Sixers past where they were, but he's only a perennial 3rd option, not a max player. Not to mention, D'lo's max is only $27M, if for some reason we can't get to the $32M, or AD wants to keep his kicker, that fits right in. But if AD waives the kicker and we have the full $32M, that's an extra $5M we could spend on a quality ring chaser ON TOP of the $4.7M Room Exception (not combined obviously).

    Dream scenario?

    Collison (Room Exception)
    Kawhi
    Lebron
    AD
    McGee

    Wishful thinking scenario?

    Collison (Room Exception)
    Russell
    Lebron
    AD
    BroLo ($5M cap space)

I think Lebron could make an impression on D'Angelo if the team gets him. Get him to realize what is important and make him imagine what being a champion would be like.

Of course, he did have Kobe for a year doing the same thing, but it was when he was a rookie, so maybe with a few years on him he would be different?

Also, as much as I love Kobe, he was in his farewell tour, couldn't practice, and didn't really have the chance to show the kids his true work ethic.

Iggy throwing some haymakers at the Warriors and their training staff...hmmm

His tone wasn't nasty, but his thoughts say a lot and don't paint them in a good light.

So they can watch Tatum look lost learning how to play without the ball in his hands? They should focus on making him the focal point of the team like they did the year before when they reached the ECF, surround him with complimentary talent. Oh well...

If it was Bucher, you can almost bet on the opposite happening. Guy has zero connections these days. He may have at one point (I mean, he had to have had connections at some point in order to become a reporter in the first place), but his connections have long dried up. He's like Peter Vescey at this point.

What? That's a terrible idea. They need to sign Rajon Rondo and bring him back to the team of his former glory and make Rondo the focal point of the offense. Run the Mike Brown Cleveland Cavs offense with Rondo playing the Lebron role. Clear everyone out to the 3 point line and let Rondo get to work!

"Hey Kemba! It's Danny Ainge and the C Bags. Yeah the C Bags. Yes we are the team who traded away our star point guard after he hurt himself in the playoffs for us, but- Yes we are the team that ran our star point guard out of town last year in Kyrie, but- Yes we have Terry Rozier who we built up as a future star and who trashed us minutes after the season ended, but... hello?"
