Man, bring back Dlo. I felt like we did him wrong. Let's hope he has matured.

I would much prefer Beverly to DLo for THIS team (LeBron). Cheaper by about half, hits the 3 ball about the same, actually plays D, and is not ball dominant in the half court.

My ideal backcourt would be nabbing both of them. Would be pretty tight cap-wise, but that's my best case scenario if we don't land a big fish in FA.

I would love Beverly but it sounds like he'll be too expensive even if the Lakers don't sign a max player. Given LeBron often initiates the offense, a cheap point guard who can hit the three is probably the best fit.

My ideal backcourt would be settling for Caruso plus another Vet min because Kawhi signed.

I'd be torn on this. The reason I would like Russel more than Beverly is because he's another guy who can drop 30 on any given night. The way the league is called now, defense is becoming less and less important. Multiple offensive weapons is seemingly the way to go. It's why Vucevic is also high on my list. Having guys that can drop 20 helps with the load management we will undoubtedly be doing with Lebron and AD.

Collison may be the best bet for a guy who can hit 3's who may come cheap.

I wonder if the Vogel and LA connections along with a guaranteed starting spot put him on our radar as a Room Exception add if we get a 3rd max. He can probably get a lot more, but maybe he likes the idea of being on a star loaded team at home?

The issue is that we need someone that can create his own shots when Lebron is on the bench. Beverley and Collison can't do that. We need someone like Dlo or Lou Williams type of player, who can get his when Lebron or Davis on the bench. Can Kuz be that type of player? I just don't see it yet.

Kuz can be. His explosive 40 and 50 points games showed me that. I would like for us to pair him up with a nice bench piece though to set him up and space the floor. Not sure who that would be, but I fully believe Kuz can step it up.

Yeah. Collison has been my pick all offseason. Local kid in a position of great need with skills of great need. Seems to be a good teammate/locker room guy as well. If we open up that max slot and sign Kawhi, I call Collison and pray he accepts our Room Exception.

Another guy who would be solid too is Cory Joseph. He's not a starter caliber player, but would be a really good bench provider. TJ McConnell is out there as well on that front.

I am still in shock Paul George isn't a Laker. It was the most off I have ever been on a sure thing. Demands trade, max contract available, star on the team to compete, hometown, Laker fans chanting your name while you are playing. After that, anything is possible.

9 days until Free Agency starts. Wonder how loud or quiet its gonna be.

Any bets on how many days before Woj reaches with some dirt on us?

Have you noticed he hasn't said much about the Lakers lately. I think word got out he was talking out his a** and he got called on it. If he is trying to be a Skip Bayless where you make it on pure trash commentary, than I guess it's a good method. But if he wants to be taken seriously and be a schmuck, that wont work.
