That’s exactly what this was. A week long hit job on Pelinka and our team.

I don’t ever want to hear anything about Laker fans not trusting the media again.

Please God, let Kyrie or Kawhi or Butler come. Please. When the Lakers win the title next year, there will be zero good sportsmanship after. Woj, all these f***ers will hear it.

    All week?

    ...try all year!

The hate started when we got Bron...then AD happened... now imagine the rage if we get Kawhi.

    Pelinka > Ainge

Baynes opts in with an indication he won’t be traded.

Report comes out today that C Bags were thinking of trading him. C Bags fans defended it, claiming that it was probably mutual between Baynes and the C Bags since they’re a different team without Kyrie/Horford then what Baynes had originally chosen to opt in to. C Bags fans claimed that Ainge was probably working with Baynes to get him to a contender.

Then Ainge trades him to the Phoenix Suns.

And people wonder why nobody wants to go to Boston? Must be more Rich Paul manipulation...

Never mind, C Bags fans told me this still must have been mutually agreed between Baynes and Ainge. That it must have been part of the deal for Phoenix to buy out Baynes so that he gets his money and gets to pick his team in free agency.

    Oh wait...

Didn't you post something about wanting to or wanted to do something in one of the fields of media? Don't recall exactly what it was but it required you "talking" I think I recall?

Sports radio. I did a little of it at Palomar College on KKSM 1320. My show was called "The Nighthawks". We were on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm back in the day.

This pretty sums up my point I tried to make a few days ago. Rob may not be the most liked GM, have some skeletons in his closet but the guy works his tail off and is wicked smart. Kobe always expects excellence out of the guys he surrounds himself with. When he was playing no one was closer to him then his agent. Basketball related or not.

If the Lakers are cutting off media access I love it.

I know PR is gold in big business but we don't play by their rules if they don't remember who's feeding the dog bones. We have the leverage in this relationship - you either get access or you don't. There was a lot of dirt dropped on our name all season long, and people piled on when we were rock bottom (magic fiasco, no playoffs). Screw them.

The Lakers have too much clout and currency to play this nice. Shut the doors. The media can spin things nice or spin up outta here.

Works for the Patriots and they aren't half the cache as the LA Lakers. I love what the Lakers are and what they are doing. I say, burn everyone in your path and stay clean doing it.

So are we ready to buy this narrative... Rob no longer handcuffed to Magic will become a top tier GM?

If Rob gets Kawhi or Kyrie to LA, the entire league will be eating out of his rear end. And the media will come back for the scraps.

I don't know if Rob will ever be considered a great GM, but what I do know is he'll work as hard as anyone to try and get there.

There's too much smoke to truly assess what's going on. I'm going to judge him based on the results. So far so good. Let's see if he can deliver on that 3rd star.
