    What a crap show that was eh? Man. He packs up and leaves the last day of the year and then s***s all over the franchise on the way out? What a jerk move from Magic.

    The good news is he pretty clearly was a big problem in the FO and Pelinka looks like he's doing all the right things in the meantime. I'm pretty damn optimistic about our team going forward!

    I love how the tune's of biased articles went from "Lakers franchise in shambles due to shaky office" and "Lakers package not enough for AD" to "Lakers gave up way too much" "Lakers not contenders with AD" or "Lakers can't get max money with trade now".

    They're just scrounging around the bottom of the barrel for any sort of hate piece they can get. Just goes to show, we will always be the butt of the league no matter how many ways you put it, when we finally get #17, there's nothing the C Bags could hold over us as the best NBA Franchise of all time, as if that wasn't already the case.

    Hey guys, remind me who the CBA guy was when Magic was here...or is that not blatantly obvious? Magic gave the okay to the trades, but who presented him with the "best" options being letting Jules walk and Mus for Zu? He helped shed MozDeng and gave us the opportunity to add Bron, then AD...and possibly a third...but did he finesse that salary cap and efficiently create the appropriate space? Considering how most of y'all had issues with some of our player transactions last year, it's pretty obvious he didn't.

    How leaky was stuff this last year and isn't at first take, isnt it blatantly obvious that it wasn't Magic?

    Magic may not have been the best Prez, but he gave our FO nearly 3 months to fill that roll...and we obviously didn't. Why?

    Who ran the coaching search, and obviously Lue ain't here...so how did that go? So who had the Kidd infatuation, or is that not obvious by now?

    I don't believe the media propaganda machine as most of y'all did this year, but where is this narrative coming from that the Lakers need to further incentivize the AD deal to get that max spot back? I know it's obviously Woj and cbag/cLipper cronies...is it tho?





    It was a win holding onto Kuz add not giving up the entire farm by using draft capital to postpone the deal till August. But that obviously doesn't appear to be the case now, does it?

    Real, I missed you bro. Things are alot more optimistic with you here. But buddy, enjoy your hero's welcome. You don't want this smoke. Or have I not made that obvious?

    Btw, I didn't like how Magic went out either. He should have seen this through and not succumb to all the over the top hate. But it's for the better, since it's obvious he makes a better ambassador for us and doesn't have to miss movie night with Cookie to do so. Plus isn't this the optimistic thread...why y'all instigating drama? Don't make your Magic hate too obvious.

    Oh my friend. I'm certainly not getting into this. I don't have the time.

    But if you really truly in your heart of hearts believe Magic wasn't a problem, all power to you. You do what you got to do. It's pretty obvious that Magic was not fit for this job (really by his own admission) and Rob just netted Davis. If you want to say Rob fell backwards into the trade, that's fine too, but in the end who was here to get the deal done? It was Rob and meanwhile Magic took his ball and went home and made himself look like a total fool in the process.

    OKC is looking to shed salary to avoid luxury tax rather than going all in with Russ and PG. PG said “F you” to the Lakers in free agency last year to run it back, and now he has to be remembering this is the team that broke up a Russ, KD, Harden, Ibaka roster because they didn’t want to pay for it.
