Didn't Magic say something about how he still talks to Jeanie and the FO daily?

Either he "obviously" knows something we all don't...or he "obviously" doesn't know how the cap works.

    Either way....it's obvious.

It came from Ramona so likely she did get it from Paul. I'm sure it all hinges on who we can get then Paul can go to AD and say "you need to do this" I am on board with those players (would also like to see Beverly though) but I don't know if Brogdan takes 14, Green may take 5 due to his age and the team, 10mil seems to be a little over for Brook to me but the Bucks may be willing to pay him a lot.

Did you just basically tell him:

“That’s stupid you moron, but please give me your thoughts on a related matter?”

That caught me off guard a little

    Probably deserve it tbh.

Especially after spamming your pro Trump agenda all over the board, and openly rooting for the C Bags against the Bucks while claiming Harden was better than Kobe. SMH

That’s laughable tbh. The other guys who might be max worthy just snapped/tore tendons and ligaments and such.

It’s like the whole list for a team that wants to win now.

Fantastic reporting. Earthed shattering stuff there.

He's going to cost more than the 5 mil he got this year and I sometimes forget he's even on the floor. Has next to zero elevation and just always looks like he is pissed off at something and ready to do something stupid. Would much rather have McGee with Wagner hopefully muscled up a bit behind him and some other decent Big man 3rd off the bench.

Yeah, but he won’t pull that crap here with Caruso around. Homie don’t play that.

We’ll see about his pay. He could still ring chase.

Even at 60%, he was still effective. Remember Boogie came back midway through the season and was set back with the quad injury. He had zero time for actual rehab. He’ll have a full offseason to heal up and get back into game shape.

    Off topic side note:

I noticed no other protests are currently being scheduled at Staples.

Why would JaVale come back for league minimum? He's capable of playing reduced but valuable minutes at an all star level at times when healthy. Someone will want him if that's all we offer. What did we pay him last year? Who's going to be better at the things he did well for around that amount of money? Maybe he takes less than last year to play on this team with a good chance for another ring. But what does "less" look like?

I honestly don't see him getting paid. I see him possibly returning for the room exception...he won't get anything above $8M per year.

Well 8 isn't peanuts and why I was asking what did he get last year? We'd be lucky for him to take less and how much less to play on a championship potential squad again?

He did take the minimum last year which is why we’re hopeful he might take it again this year.

Aha!! How much is that .... 1.5 or 2? He'd probably take 4 here or elsewhere. Maybe more gets thrown elsewhere for specific need and also striking out on higher priority FAs?

Thanks, just had another hypothetical scenario I was curious about.

What if Kawhi opts in to his player option with Toronto and has them trade him to us (assuming there is enough good will there that they would do it as a favor to him after he brought them a title)? Obviously he’d be taking less for this upcoming season, but would we then have his full bird rights and if so how would that improve whatever we could offer next summer?

Follow up question, if hypothetically that would be in Kawhi’s best interest and it’s what he wanted, would you all be willing to give Kuzma to Toronto to incentivize them?
