Vato .... good get! You're learning how to use the library of great gifs left us by the legendary @sirronstuff. Dude was talented!
oh is that who made those? there are so many I was thinking to myself dude must be lonely and single and live in his mom's basement or something.
Hey @lavar-is-trash ! No real updates this weekend, I was mostly doing non-AEG related work. However I did have a call with a colleague a few hours back and he mentioned he heard the Lakers might be putting together an offer. It was a really indirect way though so I would put much less stock into that tidbit than you might normally. I wouldn't be surprised if they still haven't come to a consensus and what my colleague heard was just misinterpreted. I'm not familiar with the author you quoted, but if that is truthful information, then my guess would be that the Lakers are probably going to make an offer without Kuzma that they feel is likely to get the Pelicans to bite fast without further negotiation. But I've been removed from the situation in the last 3 days so I have no idea if that's accurate or not. If a deal was already made though, I would have heard by now (and ESPN would have too). Best, Mr. Rambis
Yes it would be surprising indeed after the last huge fiasco with leaks while dealing with NO that another leak was occurring. I do have a hard time believing Pelinka would let the same blunder occur as before, he strikes me as a far more intelligent man than that.
We have Lebron at the 3/4 AD is a 4/5 Out of all of the kids, if we keep Kuzma, how does that sense? We kept who becomes a backup when we NEED another starter. He’s definitely not a 3. If it’s true, I fail to see the victory here. Unless Linda likes it. If she likes it, I’m behind it 100%
Personally I would rather have Ingram than Kuzma. Kuzma is what he is... a chucker who plays piss poor defense.
How do you fail to see a victory in pairing Lebron James with another superstar in his prime? That's been the plan this entire time, and if it's not happening through free agency so it seems.
i think kuz can play 3. counter to my original thoughts on him, he may be better suited to it than the 4. he doesn't rebound well enough to play heavy minutes at the 4, imo. and i think he can defend well enough on larger perimeter players (in theory) to make it work. get some rambis glasses, because that's anthony freaking davis over there. and 20+ million and another exception to find guys to play the 1, 2, and 5. obviously. me too, but i'm guessing the pelicans aren't cool with that for similar reasons. kuz is kind of like clarkson, i think. there is value in his skillset, just not allstar value. as a bench scorer on a lebron/AD team...you could do worse.
Ingram is the centerpiece to the AD trade. It's not about who's better, we all know BI has tons of potential, but moneywise/talentwise, it's what works for both sides.
money doesnt have to work if max fa is looking like a fail...id rather have bi stay with 20mill to spend over a gutted team with ad james and a maxed out butler
I would. Our team really wasn't "gutted" last year and went nowhere. I'm taking the stars and filling it out with vet contracts and exceptions. That's fine with me.
a team of ad,james, butler with bunch of old washed up vet is worse than last yrs team once injuries happens
