completely agree, the only thing that would make me happier than to rid ourselves of legroin, would be obtaining an all-star or two via his recruiting efforts...

yeah...that could be a lot of folks. "very connected". plaschke likes to stir the pot.

could it happen? sure. but it would be as bad a look for lebron as it would for us. and after how we've been treated in the star trade demands by other teams, i'd LOVE to see how we responded to threats and demands. could totally see us sending him to memphis or something.

Bill Plaschke and the term "very connected" are two things you don't hear often. I doubt highly that Bill actually has inside info from anyone truly
"connected" to either Lebron or the Lakers. Bill is a good human interest writer, knows baseball well, but knows very little about basketball.

Bron should absolutely apply the pressure. The "do something and do it now" approach usually works well for us.

That story is from last week. Media squeezing something out of an old headline on a slow news day.

Except if it brings in CP-Douche Nozzle. If that’s the case please don’t apply any pressure!

No but given the total dysfunction right now I’m a little worried about the Lakers wanting to make a splash by trading for CP3

I'm sure the Commish will do everything possible to get those ratings back up. Adam, the 4th pick was a nice jump-off, but you know we need another solid.

Well he should have ensured we'd get the #1 pick instead of whack a** Pels who will now run yet another generational talent out of town with their sheer incompetence

Seriously, it’s like NBA opening day all over again whenever they play because the time off has been so long I forget the series is going on. They really can’t play every other day? Come on, that’s soft.

So the guy that pushed Lowry is a part-owner.

And this is why no other players want to play with Bron. :wasntme:
