Can we give Di Angelo second chance, .He is proven all- star now with playoffs experience.
Magic and Kupchak both are gone.
    And please no more Rondo.

RE: Jimmy Butler: The story on purchasing originated from a very sketchy source. LOL.

RE: Irving...he is leaning Brookln according to Stephen A. and Broussard. However, he is one mercurial dude; truthfully, IDK where he goes...

I probably go after Butler pretty hard if I’m the Lakers. Not wise to spend too much time on guys like KD, Kawhi, Kyrie that we probably have little shot at, when we probably have a much better chance at a guy like Butler if we pursue him him like he’s our top choice. Give me LeBron, AD, and Butler and I’m watching every game for sure.

I seriously hope that if we strike out on FA's this year that Jeannie will begin to understand that she is the problem here and work to fix the FO.

Absolutely do not want to go another year of point LBJ, which is what you'll get if we go all in on AD. At this point in his career LBJ needs to be a bucket getter and closer from the post and wing. Best reference I can think of was pre/post retirement Air Jordan v Floor Jordan (each equally devestating) when MJ acknowledged his limitations. Also, any knowledge basketball analyst who reviews tape before injuries see Zo and BI playing at all star levels with a month sample size at the ripe old age of TWENTY-ONE. Injuries aside (this is a salient risk), I see neither of them doing anything except getting better.

There is no need to stifle their growth forcing them into a LeBron centric system. A sensible FO would max only Khawi, Klay, or KD and wait on 2020 for AD to become available. This star gazing is media fueled and not prudent in any way, shape or form for this team. NO is salivating over a Zo/BI/Kuz/Hart package over anything that BOS or NYN can come up with .... This is telling.

Sans a Max FA signing a sensible strategy would be a smaller trade/signing of a floor spacing big Cousins/Lopez/Sabonis add a couple of consistent shooters Bullock/#4 pick/Curry/McLemore and a rim runner/protector McGee/WCS/Noel. Deep team that is doable cap wise, built for a playoff run, and has still have space to get AD in 2020 without losing young, cost controlled, prime gifted assets for pipe.

They can't afford to keep Demarcus. He's an easy get IMHO.

BI has never had 1 month of playing at an all-star level yet dude. Come on son. The kid has potential but he has never put a 1 month sample size of all-star level play. Think about who the all-stars are in the NBA homie.

But he was a beast for those last couple weeks before the blood clot. He figured things out. Fact is, he was a young guy who was NOT ready for the pros, his body was that of a boy, even if he was a really really tall boy. Then his role was in constant turmoil thanks much to Walton and less so to circumstances. I will go on record as saying he IS going to be an all-star and believe he is going to be a top 10 player in the league in his prime. He is ONLY 21 NOW!! I would not trade him for anyone not named Kawhi. I mean, if we trade him for AD, I will shrug my shoulders and figure what had to be, had to be but mark my words, he will come back and bust our butts down the road. I am more worried about him busting out and coming back to haunt us than anyone else on this team, even Lonzo. I would be happy if we signed Cousins, resigned McGee and went after someone like Beal. A team of:

    C: Cousins, McGee
    PF: Ingram, Kuzma
    SF: Lebron, Kuzma
    PG: Lonzo, Caruso
    SG: Beal, Hart

I don’t disagree with a lot of this honestly. I think he has a real high upside. I wouldn’t say Top 10 though. Too many talented young guys.

Yep, kind of forgot about him. He would be a solid addition and is healthy.

    C: Vucevic, McGee
    PF: Ingram, Kuzma
    SF: Lebron, Kuzma
    PG: Lonzo, Caruso
    SG: Beal, Hart

This team would cause a ton of problems in the west. This team would be respectable but would not beat a healthy Warriors team, however the Raptors are showing that after so many years in the finals, the odds of the Warriors staying healthy are going against them. Remember how hard it was for the Lakers to stay healthy when they were always in the finals!! You have to be ready to take advantage, even if you don't really have the weapons to defeat them when they are 100%.

So we traded for Beal using only the 4th pick? Did we throw in a box of crayons to push the deal across the finish line? ;)

I'm going to stick by my statement LA Bron:

    BI's last 20 games covering Jan-Mar

    21.5 - PPG, 54% - FG%, 75% - FT%, 37% - 3PFG%

Lonzo's game harder to quantify, he is just a defensive disrupter and offensive savant (wish they tracked hockey assists ... assist leading to an assist) but his numbers were on the uptick his last 20

    12 - PPG, 43% - FG%, 6.5 - Assists , 34% - 3PFG%

My point is they are both 21 with not yet developed NBA bodies and they are performing at those levels. It makes no sense to me to trade these guys away for AD when you can have him easy next year and still have a highly competitive and deep team this year. With LeBron, AD and the pips (which you'll have after going all in for AD) may get you to the playoffs and after that we'll have the Cavaliers West.

id like that beal scenario with only giving up 4th n fillers too 7lol but dont want Vucevic on a max deal, id rather take cousins on a cheaper shorter deal, Vucevic is just another Klove to me. big stats, little impact
