Lebron will be featured on a show called “Headliners With Lester Holt” on Sunday 6pm PST on MSNBC. Looks to show all he has achieved on and off the court. I’m looking forward to it.

I wasn’t going to tell you guys about this so that I wouldn’t feel judged, but now you could never doubt that LeBron is my favorite player.

 

At least he has Kobe Bean Bryant on there... props for recognizing greatness.

As for CP-Douche... the Lakers are NOT that dumb to take on that much salary. No one is going to help Morey out. Mr. E-Wins did this to himself and that franchise. That contract is about as bad as John Wall’s.

 

If he talks about the opportunities afforded to him by being in LA maybe that might sway some potential free agents!

 

I hear you, but I’m less interested in having him market for L.A. because nothing has changed with the city on that front. You come here, you can get brand opportunities and hype more than most any place. L.A.’s problem is we just happen to have bozo ownership.

What I am interested in is Lebron being featured as a role model for athletes, and young people in general. His story can inspire them to recognize and maximize their power and use it to motivate and help others. There will always be an NBA star that will replace your buzz and have your stats and you will become a fond memory for your fans. But, the back story of someone’s life and how they battled the odds to achieve even more than most of their peers, that’s interesting and has value beyond the sport.

 

Honest to god my first thought was that LeBron just did this to his own legs.

I do, and I agree with you completely. I just don’t want to get my hopes up and nothing happens.

 

Apparently Bron is applying the pressure. If we strike out this summer, he wants out.

That causes some conflicted feelings. I'd sacrifice another season to get him the f*** off my team. But at the same time, I recognize that he's our best chance to lure anyone here especially with our inept front office and losing him would only make our front office even worse to potential FA targets.
