We will get whatever free agent Klutch / LeBron can get us.

Nothing in that report about Rob (or even Magic) comes as a surprise to me. He’s already shown himself to be incompetent from the tampering issues alone. The answer here was simple but Jeannie, per usual, is making it hard.

We shouldn’t have to hope for the best and wish for miracles while our terrible staff figures it out.

Bring some real talent to the front office. It’s very simple.

One of the larger issues I pulled from the piece was that Magic and Rob went against our draft department to select Mo. They were in a separate war room and went rogue. If there's one area I trust the lakers more than other organization in recent years, it's the draft. We have an amazing draft department and to ignore all that based on a 60 second conversation with Hart is asinine management from the decision makers in this organization.

If we keep this pick at 4, that operational style is a big area of concern for me.

It's truly remarkable that Jeanie Dolan claims to love the Lakers and yet is incapable of even the tiniest shred of leadership. This place is a hellscape burning to the ground before her eyes, and she so FREAKING WEAK that she can't even fire some dude whose closest tie to her is she was Kobe's agent for a few years. This isn't her brother. This isn't her boyfriend. Rob is a just a dude, and he, along with her besties the Rambii have made this organization a joke.

And Joey & Jesse Buss are pointing out all this to her face, and all she can come up with as a retort is...

Another highlight from this piece worth bringing light to.

Yeah, you know that organization you came from where you still have friends. I'm going to tell you they do what we do to justify it and shut you up, but just don't shoot any of them a text to confirm.

And how would that have even come up in a convo Rob allegedly had with GS?

Yes, that part of the article (all of it really though) was very disturbing. Joey, Jesse, and the rest of the scouting department have really proven they deserve the benefit of the doubt, yet Pelinka and Magic did that. The Lakers podcasts have been saying that happened for almost a year now, and been describing this sort of working environment going on, but when brought up around here it’s been met a lot with denial. As if Rob, Magic, Joey, Jesse and co were all on the same page, always. Well, now we see the likely truth, they are not, and unsurprisingly Rob (I called him a psychopath a week or so ago, wasn’t joking) has risen to the top lying his a** off and being shady as can be, so shocking. :speechless: I don’t buy Larry Nance’s refuting of that report of what Rob told him either, Nance has incentive to deny such things while he’s still in the league, as almost all players always do, don’t rock the boat, don’t burn bridges, that’s why most of these sources remain anonymous, fear. That’s where I’m at with Rob and this org, fear, I fear greatly his incompetence when it comes to building a roster, combining that with Jeanie, Linda, and Kurt’s incompetence. Klutch sport’s hold on the team seems like almost a good thing in comparison, ugh, what a mess.

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!“ - Rob Pelinka

I know, it’s Stephen A, but it’s still reporting to a degree when he cites specific examples and people commenting on some of these issues

That was the first sign. We felt it but we brushed it off. Rob is the Joel Olsteen of the NBA. Pretty face with a lying mouth.

I’ll never forget. I try to forget every time hear his name, see his face, or listen to him speak, but this is all that comes to mind. Dude is a moron, a used car salesman in the highest offices of an actual NBA front office.

I'm very happy that the media has zeroed in on Pelinka....

I don't care how much power he has or how much Linda gets wet thinking about him...he is gone sooner or later. Ultimately, narrative reigns supreme.

Get rid of this MOFO right now...it is impossible to comprehend how the Lakers have empowered an absolute tool to be their face of the front office...

incomprehensible....the self-distruction is EPIC right now. Never ever were Jim and Mitch this bad.

The only way he gets fired, is when Kobe tells Jeanie that "it's ok to let him go".

^I disagree...I think the media can get you fired. They can get anyone fired.

And Rob has enough skeletons in the closet to keep digging at it.

The Lakers will continue to be a failure and at some point Jeanie would want to save her own skin.

Pelinka and Magic have already produced unprecedented damage to this franchise...contrary to Vasashi's conviction of how great their master plan is.

The sooner they are buried the better.

Sadly, my fear is that Linda Rambis and his wife (!) Kurt will crawl to stick around.
