    I can’t believe its come to this but Lebron is the only one that can save the team now.

    He’s been putting in work recruiting, now we wait 5 weeks to see if it pays off.

    But we know the league made this official announcement just for Bron & the Lakers.

    Agreed. I always figured that was the true benefit of having Lebron on the team, which was a good part of my excitement. I just never figured at that time the primary threat to attracting a top free agent in year two of the Lebron era and the Mag/Peli plan would be the front office.

    Regardless of whether this ship is turned around in a positive direction now, or not, reflecting back in the future on this time period will look even worse than it feels going through it. So much wasted time and opportunity.

    LeBron wants those 6 rings. I don't care how he gets it done just get us some key pieces so we can be at the top again, and I'll officially call him somebody GOAT.

    I don't know how he's gonna get Kwahi and klay tho, but the stories about him working and recruiting makes me happy.

    Not a fan of Jimmy to be honest. Seems to have locker room issue follow him everywhere. And handing a max deal to someone who is going to be on the wrong side of 30 when the season starts is asking for trouble. We'd have 2 seasons to make noise, because after that, both Butler and Lebron will likely be severely diminished.

    I agree with everything you said. Especially since Jimmy has only played over 75 games twice. BUT, lebrons window is only a couple years like you said, so its kinda an all in situation. Thats why i hope the lakers don't trade all the young guys and keep the 4th pick. So when these guys are done, we don't have to start over from the bottom.
    I also think jimmy has never really had a veteran superstar like lebron to keep him in check.
    Hopefully they can do a deal with a Team option on the last year.
