Not even sure how you’re dealing with this man, losing a dog in back to back months, absolutely gut-wrenching, so sorry. I wish you the best in getting through this time, I know I’d be a wreck, sorry you lost another young one. My dog had a bright red rash type thing (lasted a week or so) and vomiting (lasted a couple days) going on a few weeks ago, and I was stressing out every day keeping an eye on it and giving her the meds from the vet. Luckily the ones for the seemingly allergic reaction rash worked after a week or so and the stomach ones worked right away. If it had turned out worse though I’m not sure I’d have gotten another dog, too much to take.
@Punk-101 does this mean you’ll be meeting strangers in the parking lot without protection? Well that came out awkward. Just as intended. Not sure coping with various tough emotions with humor is always the best answer, but it’s all I got.
I figured I'd try to put something new in this thread. It's mostly dogs, but here is another side to me. These guys are certainly pets.
Probably nothing in my life has hurt more than losing my buddy Fenris five or six years ago. Couldn’t imagine losing two in a few months. Our Zoe is 12 next month. She’s in good health, but that’s getting up there for a doggo. And my cat is 17.
That's an American Bulldog, correct? Was looking into one of those as well before we got our first dog of this current crop.
I remember a meme a while back: A: that's a cute lil pupper. B: what's a pupper? A: A lil doggo. B: What's a doggo? A: A big ole pupper! Glad I could help clarify things for everyone.
