I was watching Bill Simmons on the Ringer live YouTube show... he too lost it, turned tomato red and asked "why did we choose to televise this?" several times. For a good 15-20 mins the entire chat room was saying "I'm here only to see Bill lose it when the Lakers get Zion". Ryen Rusillo trying to carry the show while Bill was staggered is just icing on the cake. It was live, televised DOOM. Delicious.
My Gosh! Way to go ping pong balls! I almost had a heart attack! I just hope we don't talk to New Orleans until they come crawling to us on their f***ing knees! I hate the way the Pelicans treated us when AD wanted a trade and NO thought they won a world championship or something. NBA world championship for Lakers coming up!
Front office (whoever that is these days) will trade the pick. They want results asap to save face and their job. I think keeping the pic is best, a low cost impact player will help a lot moving forward
For a guy that had RJ Barrett and Zion on his team, one would think that he would shoot great with more open looks. Shot an incredible 35.6% last year.
1. Offer Ball, Ingram plus #4 pick for AD 2. Sign Kawhi during free agency 3. Switch LBJ to point guard 4. Roll with a starting 5 of LBJ, Hart, Kawhi, Kuz, AD. 5. And I see this happening at the probability of 1 out of 14.000605
Huge break and desperately needed. Truth is that the 4th pick is one too many in a 3 player draft. Zero chance Barrett or Morant fall. We must trade the pick. But if we do there goes the cap space even though we have no premier fa who is interested in this horrible circus. This means it must be AD trade.
This is HUGE for us. With the Pelicans landing Zion, they now have the perfect excuse (for their fanbase) to start a rebuild. I'd like to keep Ingram, but the trade will probably start with him and the #4 pick. Garland Holiday Ingram Zion Randle Young and promising yet still competitive.
Excellent!! I really thought we had little to no chance to move up much - maybe a spot or two. But 7 spots? So great!
all depends on if NO is willing to deal AD i feel like they still will. trade AD-get some assets in return-build around zion. lakers offer trumps the knicks. give me #4, BI, lonzo, and kuzma any day over knox, robinson, DSJ, and #3. and i don't see the knicks trading for AD unless they have a solid commitment from KD or kyrie. C Bags are out of the picture with AD. kyrie is leaving, their package is clearly behind what LA and NY can offer, and they don't have a high pick
