If we get lucky and get a higher pick than we should but lower than 2, move it in the AD deal. If anyone fights for anything else, fire them on the spot. If we get 1, get Zion and don't look back. If we don't get him, I hope he comes to ATL and can help make the local team relevant.
I'm torn on whether I want the Knicks to get the #1 pick or not. If they get Zion, they have to think about keeping him. Trading him for AD isn't the overall win most would look at that type of trade as. Trading #2 (Ja Morant to pair next to Jrue) for AD is a huge win for the Knicks. Plus if they are really gunning for Kyrie to pair with KD, then they won't really have any desire in drafting Ja @ #2. I believe the most likely (and best case for us) is the Cavs get #1, Suns get #2 (and draft Ja) and the Knicks get #3. Obviously as unlikely as it is, us jumping into the top 4 is the best case scenario cause we pick up a huge asset for AD or to keep and that most likely pushes the Grizz pick to #9, meaning it conveys to Boston which further kills their treasure trove.
if we can't move up, dallas moving up is great because it knocks memphis down. we don't want sac moving up. at all. i think for us, cleveland, chicago, and atlanta in the top three spots is the most ideal of the realistic outcomes. but there's always somebody who jumps a few spots.
Garland--can totally see it. I don't think the 4th pick can bring a star in trade, so take the best available. Klutch client, too. Not sure if Linda likes, though....
