I’m trying to figure out why someone would choose a username at this specific time and place such as this, and choose to use “Mr.” in front of it. I mean MFR Rambis I get, but doesn’t saying Mister seem to indicate a feeling of respect? You seem to have a feel for dynamics there. Would you say Mr. Kurt Rambis of the Laker lore is respected within the team? Fans seem to be a little harsh on him right now.

We have another Gumby. @Mr. Rambis .... when a lot of us were on a now deceased but very popular site called Clublakers we had a new member join that called himself Gumbygild (sp?) and started to feed us inside information preceding the acquisition of Trevor Ariza. It was exhilarating as he seemed to be the real deal of someone with inside information and it came out of the blue pretty much and then boom there was Ariza being signed. Turned out he was actually Trevor's agent. Ha! What fun and interest whenever someone like this comes in. Pretty rare. Inside joke here relating "allegedly" to additional inside and unattractive reasons the Lakers soured on D. Russell, yet not given up to this day ..... @Mr. Rambis to @D-Fish Man, "Hold my beer". Hello, one and all....I’m returning from the Dead. Former Laker Link of ClubLakers and I kind got pulled back in due to all the AD stuff. Don’t ask me why I gave up on this site and/ ClubLakers and/or Lakers Ground because off-season Summer is still my jam and I miss all the fun of talking rumors and ideas will all you all the way back in the day, but anyways. I’m back for now. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up disappearing again, but I don’t plan on it for now. It’s been a number of years, and I just barely noticed the official death of ClubLakers (sad day) but what else have I missed as of late? Anyone still do the Summer Season like NBA Live GM Roster thing still? Where you run and build the teams on here and then someone Sims the teams to see who would win?

Heads up for mods and whomever owns this site. Lakersground.net use to be one of the best sites around. It grew too big to the point where it turned into San Fransisco types. Disgusting people. Do not let that happen here, please. PC jungle is not what we want here. We respect everyone here and at the same time we can still speak freely without worry about every punctuation meaning something offensive to the whiners. Other than that, congrats and the future for this site is gonna be awesome and I can not wait to share a Lakers title with you in the Game Time Forum.
