Lebron does not equal KD. KD is far better now unfortunately, and I say that with you already knowing Lebron is my favorite player.

Lol media. Williams chose a job over waiting on what was likely not to be one. Good luck, man.

And what do we call you? Gatofish...being from East LA and all.

Yeah, I know I know...you're going to come back with insert Bron critique here followed by "but Bron is my favorite player tbh"

    (Sorry, I couldn't help myself)

The more we learn about Lue and his ability to fortify his bench the more comfortable I feel in having Monty walk.

I don't feel comfortable with Klutch running the show, but if Lue appeases Bron while we bring in Handy to keep Kawhi a funguy, there is muchroom (as in cap) to be happy about.

umm, if anything, it's vatofish broseph

you are funny, kind of genius, and special all in ur own way.

    hope you never change

I'd invite you out to a beer tonight if you were in SoCal, but I'm technically underage and all. So, virtual beer toast it is!

Haha... Can't get roofied with that type of beer, right?

You're metta in that you continue to break the 4th wall (at times uninvited) and you crazy AF.

    This one's for you...

Bron is against world peace...what a douche...but he's still one of my favorite players. Cheers!

    Anyways, back on topic...

Ty Lue would still be a young coach relatable to players of this generation like Luke was.

I don’t particularly mind the Rambis couple being involved in the interview process. I highly doubt Linda was there grilling Lue on basketball topics. It’s not the worst thing in the world for a personal confidant of the owner to feel out the candidates at a personal level. I think people are overstating her influence.

Now if Kurt is hired onto Lue’s staff, that would be terrible.

I like this hire a lot and will be excited to hear who Lue's assistants will be.

    This is funny though:

It doesn't matter who is coach Luke, Popovich or Phil if there's no 3 points shooters at this era of NBA .For example Milwaukee made 20 3 points in their recent game with C Bags

Like I said...I preferred Lue to Monty. I'm happy that once again, another team is bailing us out from making a bad decision.

Is Lue the best coach we can possibly get? probably not. But I think he was the best available coach..with championship experience and a relationship with Bron.

I'm not THAT excited about Lue because our ROSTER doesn't currently FIT Lue...

Time to get to work, Rob. Because Lue's 5-outs and pindown offense only works with shooters.

That was just really poor defense by Detroit. No one was guarding the inbounder to defend the cross court pass. They were too focused on Lebron and left that pass wide open.

That didn't look like anything special to me.

It's not uncommon for folks to use their connections and network to climb the ranks and find work. Im sure most of us have done the same thing.

Here's where it gets murky tho...if you make comments like this:

...And then you go ahead and make your boy a scout...not only do you undermine the process, but you undermine the professionals already working for you as well as your half-brother, Jesse, who had the potential to make our scouting dept a plus.

If Jeanie comes out and comments on how any Joe Schmoe/Jill Shill can be PBO, then putting Linda in that position should draw the appropriate ire. Jeanie has done no such thing and it's the media making it seem like Linda is really running the show. The narrative is getting way too wild and frankly it's unfair how the fans are dumping on Linda when we have no idea what projects she has worked on and what areas she has misstepped in.

This is why my only point of contention with Jeanie is that she's allowing crazy narratives and "leaks" to occur without recourse. But maybe she just doesn't want to give it energy...

Seriously, that's the f***ing truth right there. Still Jeanie has to find the leak and if it's Jim or his sycophants, hit em with another lawsuit.

Cool Just glad we have an upgrade coming in; and his modern offensive principles are welcomed; I am happy.

He isn't a great hire (he could turn out to be), but for now he's a very good hire.

    Now, let's improve the roster.
