We’ve already been in our offseason for a little while now, and these things have been helping me get through it. Locked On Lakers, Lakers Film Room, Silver Screen and Roll to name a few. Figured I’d make a thread because during the offseason Anthony and Pete (LFR) plan on doing shows breaking down possible draft prospects, talking about all possible scenarios for free agency, breaking down whatever coach we hire, it’s going to be good stuff. To start with here is yesterday’s podcast, it was a really good one, Jorge Sedano joined Anthony and Pete and talked the Lakers FO situation right now, what LeBron is probably thinking now and what he will in the future if this doesn’t turn around soon (George has covered LeBron since Miami), what coach would be the best fit for this team, and more Here are the latest LFR podcasts, one from Monday on Pelinka, one from today on the Lakers coaching search, these are Pete and Darius Soriano And here’s the last Silver Screen & Roll with Christian Rivas and Jacob Rude one on LeBron, and what we could even get if he wanted out in a trade http://dcs.megaphone.fm/VMP3682423695.mp3?key=d45aab33b6b5fd7b02aaad21ed29b334
The three that you listed really are the only ones worth listening to. Silver Screen and Roll really gets down to business with news reporting, they usually try to congregate and fact check all the different headlines revolving a topic. Wasn't originally a fan of Locked on Lakers, thought they were too negative but they've been making a lot more sense as of late. The occasional LFR inclusion makes it a must listen for me. And of course LFR podcast goes without saying.
These will brighten your Laker day, no joke. They rip on the Lakers, but they also list the positives of what we can still do going forward, it’s a great look behind the scenes from some guys around the team a lot and who hear a lot while they are there. Like Anthony Irwin has been saying Magic was an absentee PBO for like a year and a half, always joking about stuff that Magic has in the office he never uses, and he’s been ripped for it, but he was proven right not long ago now.
Anthony starts his year in review. This one is before he gets to the players. (Wednesday’s show) Anthony and Pete about what the Lakers can learn from these playoffs and they discus the 3 lead coaching candidates in depth (Tuesday’s show) Pete and Darius answer mailbag questions
Sorry Trevor, I honestly hadn’t come across your podcast yet, only so many hours in a day to listen I guess ha ha. Look forward to hearing it now, thanks.
All good, sounds like I need to do some more promoting! Actually recording with Allen Sliwa from ESPN momentarily, will publish tomorrow.
Cynical Laker fans seem to be all the rage these days (pun intended). Your fair and balanced approach/critique is all the promo you need from fans like myself. Keep at it Trev... at the very least, this fan appreciates it!
Locked on Lakers 5/3: Lakers are a Kobe Bryant org; LeBron James season in review Light fun podcast from Silver Screen & Roll, Christian Rivas and Sasha Ashall talk random Lakers stuff
I like locked on Lakers...they are sometimes a bit too immature for my taste but I do agree with them more often than not...
I’m enjoying these season reviews. I thought they were optimistic, yet honest in their thoughts on Lonzo
Hop boy I can’t wait to hear this one, I hope they go lax on the swearing rules and let the f-bombs fly.
hilarious end music to that pod lol Sell the team! Sell the team! Whispers words of wisdom, sell the team
Yeah they nailed it all. Its not so much about Lue and his coaching, it's how we failed to nail Lue that is the most daunting thing.
I’m not sure how you guys do it. Listening to more Laker stuff sounds like self torture. But then again, probably sounds like this forum in audio lol.
