Anybody with any common sense could figure that out as soon as we heard he was/is conducting interviews for our coaching vacancy...

Great the guy who is hated by people around the league not only did not get fired, but essentially got promoted and is running the entire show =(.

Unless people subscribed to my alternative theory that maybe Jeanie in fact was a "Ninja Jedi" and in actuality was in professional, discrete operations locking up Bob Myers and fooling everyone.

"Ty Lue I’m told in his meeting w/ @JeanieBuss really made an emotional connection w/ her in terms of his desire to return to the @Lakers."

Yep. Just talk about rejoining the Laker family and you got a job.

LOL an emotional connection with Jeannie? I mean, who gives a flying f### about an emotional connection? Hire the best coach for the job and stop worrying about your damn feelings! This is the biggest problem with our front office- we need a ball buster in here.

The Pelicans, the team that is losing their franchise player has now made two moves that put the top people in two important positions. This is a franchise that is an afterthought in that city due to the Saints getting top tier people that the premier franchise in LA has no interest in.

I’m sure we will have a Kobe/Lebron Jersey day or show us your pets in Lakers apparel contest to recoup what we lose on the court

The guy who a few random reports claimed is hated around the league without any evidence, despite the fact that he’s pulled off a number of effective trades and signings (obviously with a few misses).

Yes, this is the part of the inevitable cycle where I begin to defend our poor moves out of necessity to preserve my sanity as a fan... but really the Pelinka backlash just seems strange.

Nobody was seriously calling Pelinka a cancer or asking for his head, then suddenly Magic re-signs (opening up a prized position in the league) and all of a sudden Pelinka is the most hated man in the league who no other team will work with. I don’t buy it.

speaking of nick the quick, we should honor Eddie Jones a bit, dude was a true pro (having to deal with trade rumors almost every yr once Kobe started gettting good) and he def. outplayed his draft slot, we rushed that trade not like Glen Rice was shooting lights out when he was here.

Whatever you do; don't blame Magic or Rob. It is Mintz/PGs fault we don't have a cutting edge training staff...

And whatever you do, try to avoid being nonsensical in your retorts.

I'm sure you know the difference...but player personnel has a salary cap restraint, while training staff, team execs and coaches don't and the only obstacle are shallow pockets. So you, Abeer and every Laker fan has a legit gripe with not getting the Suns staff and I got no issue with it...

However some fans are hellbent on burying the Lakers. We manufactured a way of adding Bron and George, while keeping Jules. It cost us, but we created that opportunity. But we sure f***ed up with George, Jules, DLo and Zu...all them still playing, while we're sitting our a**** at home.

    Oh, wait...
