    maybe but Magic is a multiple time offender thus the $500k to begin with, while other execs like the Bucks guy who made comments bout KD or someone and only got $50k

    And so would Magic be viewed with the Lakers themselves saying he will still have this role. Would sure like to find out that Jeanie acted totally above board and in secrecy in contacting Warriors for permission to talk. But what the hell sources would Simmons have on this?? Very likely just talking and hypothesizing about what Jeanie SHOULD be doing.

    I know the downside is that Klutch gains more power, but he woulda been great here!

    Our new Prez needs to intercept Griff with this hire. With Nunez gone, we do have an opening.
