With Jeannie, Rob and Rambis running things I’m definitely worried.

I have no confidence in their abilities.

    None.

Great. And if he's named head coach and 3/4 of the way through the season LeBron hates him then what? Through back channels it so needs to be who does Anthony Davis want? If LeBron wants best chance of getting AD to the Lakers. But that's common sense. No optimism here.

Why do the Lakers do this to us? I just wrote a paragraph defending them over the Suns and then boom, this bull****. Good lord.

It's not really their choice; I think Rich Paul and LeBron are running things behind the scenes. I wouldn't be surprised if we interviewed Mark Jackson. The optics looks bad; I know they do, but I'm not willing to overreact right now.

It is all bad, but I like Monty; and I think Lue has better X's and O's than we anticipated, etc. I'm just trying to be positive. LOL.

Regarding AD does anyone know if in fact he did like Williams a lot far as we can tell, or if he appeared unhappy when he was let go? Just wondering if anyone knows.

AD and Monty have a good relationship - that's all you need to know.

They just have no benefit of the doubt from me at this point. I need to see them get it right.

Early signs aren’t encouraging for me.

Rob and Rambis running things was exactly what I expected when Magic left so I was never as happy about him stepping down as others.

That tells me it’s still business as usual with the front office. Still doing things “the Laker way” and not changing.

I can’t rule out them going with a name coach like Kidd. I don’t see any reason to interview him honestly.

I can also see Jeannie attempting an extremely ill conceived “power play” to show LeBron she’s in charge.

thus my comments, we'd be the bottom feeders of bottom feeders if Monty had a choice and choosed Pho.

With respect to your last question, what if LBJ/Rich wanted Kidd interviewed? What are we going to do? Say, 'No'? Essentially, they are our Front Office.

Again, I think Monty or Lue or well ahead of everybody else. If I'm wrong? Then, that would suck. LOL.

    Lol

Honestly that would make me feel better as LeBron has to be comfortable with the next coach.

I think we end up with Lue honestly and I’m okay with that even though I lean toward Monty.

How does Rambis keep coming back? He’s like a spirit haunting the Lakers you can’t get rid of. He’s been around the Lakers for almost as long as I’ve been watching. He started his coaching career as an assistant in 1996, he was a garbage head coach for us in ‘98/‘99 before Phil came in. He then returned as an assistant coach for us in 2001 and stuck around as an assistant until 2009, which means he STILL wasn’t fired when Rudy T came in and got to pick his own staff. He then was a garbage head coach for Minny for a couple years, came BACK to us as an assistant coach for the ‘13/‘14 season, then went on to be an assistant for the garbage Knicks aside from being interim coach for one short period. Now he’s back with us again. Is this man a literal security blanket for Jeanie and/or Phil? What the f*** power does he hold over these people and this franchise, Ben Rosales is spot on, he’s never been successful at anything aside from hanging around actual successful people.

Rob, Rambis, and Kidd walk into a bar... oh wait that's not a goddamn joke, it's the current state of the Lakers... well I guess that could be considered a goddamn joke

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.
