Kobe - Doesn’t know anything aside from being a player.

Jeanie - Doesn’t know anything and surrounds herself with the same

Rambis - Who the eff are you? You just do brunch with Jeanie or what?

It’s very reassuring the 3 people that need to make one of the most critical decisions for our franchise are all homers that don’t know anything about choosing/making the right decisions for the franchise.

If Magic was never there and Pelinka froze people out of the decision making process, who was mainly involved in the s***storm that was this season? This isn’t hard.

Yeah, we’re f***ed. The only hope is that somehow Kawhi or Kyrie wants to come here anyway and the Pelicans take like Lonzo, Kuz and the pic for AD. That’s the only thing I can see making up for a FO this bad and ownership this dysfunctional, pure star power on the court.

That’s the thing with this franchise. It can always get worse.

They are just absolutely clueless. Completely cut off from reality. It’s unreal.

Its pretty obvious at this point Jeanie has no idea what she is doing. I mean, we sort of knew this for awhile but just when you hope she might get some help she doubles down.

10 years ago, this was a 100 -300 million franchise.

    Now it’s what 2 -3 billion?

Can’t run things the same way anymore. Just can’t.

So, while I'm opposed to him staying, it doesn't look like he's going anywhere right now.

That said, the most important relationship he needs to build is with David Griffin. I don't care if it takes reaching out by phone, meeting up in Summer League, Scouting, etc; Griffin is a level headed dude with a sharp basketball mind.

If Davis can hold his ground and continue to push his way here, I think Griffin listens at the very least, which is better than what the previous managerial regime did before they were terminated in NO.

If we can by some miracle land Davis; the future is looking a whole lot brighter for this franchise in spite of the chaos because we have another superstar to build around for the next 7-8 years.

Now, is Rob capable of getting this done? I have no clue, but I'm a Lakers fan and it's Lakers over everything, and despite the reasons he's here (Thanks, Jeanie), I'm rooting for the Lakers to be successful.

Griffin in New Orleans is good for us. I don’t think he’ll be as hostile toward us, he knows hoops and he’s high on Brandon Ingram.

A reasonable package around Ingram has a much better chance of going through with him than it did before.

Pelinka leading the coaching search, and the fact that we are already meeting with Lue and Monty next week, is concerning.

No GM or PBO coming here is going to want to inherit these guys. They want to bring in their own guys.

I'm very confident that with Snitch at the helm. . The Lakers will implode in embarrassing fashion and this farce will end rather sooner than later.

There is just zero chance this front office succeeds. They will strike out on FAs this summer and the heat will be turned on by the media immediately.

Thank God they are so dumb and incapable that it won't take long because they haven't even been able to hide it for a year. Nobody believes in them. Except Kobe who seems to be on drugs.

Can't hide stupid for too long.

Pelinka used to be a high powered agent so by definition he had to be a jerk. Those jerk skills are not helpful as a GM. If you tell me it was Magic that did not want to resign Julius Randle and Magic who made the Zubac trade then I might me willing to give Pelinka a shot. Still Jeanie must know that the organization was dysfunctional last year and that needs to be fixed. Perhaps that is on Magic and not Rob I am not sure. I hope she will consider her brother Jessie who runs the scouting department with Ryan West to run the whole show and promote Ryan West to to head of Scouting.

Anyway Magic made and left a mess. The handling of the AD talks was terrible and the construction of the team around LBJ was asinine. It is hard to tell what Rob did and what Magic did but it is not hard to see all the dumb mistakes that were made.

This last paragraph is generally how I feel, concluding that the entire management team is a mess.

Pete LFR brought up this point:

Okay so Jeanie’s MO is hiring exLaker guys, Rob’s exLaker status is based on him being Kobe’s agent. If that is the reason you choose Rob instead of Bob Myers then we’re in trouble.
