    yea, i forget too sometimes... shannon brown literally had to harness his hops as he could easily crash into the backboard. so much athleticism, good times...

    He spawned one of my all time favorite Lakers gifs with Kobe and Lamar and Pau and those guys on the sideline after Shannon got to the team and soon after raped that guy above the rim from behind in mid air. Sorta a mini "mile high" move. Sorry Me Too.

    He was not really creative with his dunks, but boy he could jump. He's not even that tall, but not only he could go up high, but he jumped incredibly fast. He was at max height in no time.

    Also, 10 year old optimism is not enough.

    It was almost at the end of the 97/98 season, exactly on this date when Shaq scored 50 points for the first time as a Laker



    It was still not our time, but I think everyone knew that the future was bright in L.A. at that point. Shaq was a beast, and that young SG we had on the bench (who was our second best player anyways) looked pretty solid.

    It was not our championship team, but I kinda enjoyed that 1997-1998 team with Shaq, Kobe, Elden Campbell, Eddie Jones, Derek Fisher, Rick Fox, Robert Horry and Cancun.
