    I would not trade Zion for anyone in the league.

    Then I'd keep the young core, sign one year FAs and let AD come for $$$ one year later. LeBron's last two years we would have LeBron / AD / Zion / Kuz / BI / Zo plus low level FAs. Profit now and profit for the next ten years.

    f*** LeBron, he's content with chilling in Hollywood and making movies, getting his tan on. I say don't build around him build around Ingram, Zo, Kuzma and Hart. If we get Zion or RJ Barrett I would trade none of the young core just the draft pick and cap for AD since he's only 25 years old. Also if we strike out on free agency go after Middleton and kemba

    If we somehow got the #1 pick...I don't do New Orleans any favors.

    I probably keep the #1 pick and then roll the cap space over to the following summer for AD OR we just add another superstar like Kawhi, KD, Kyrie, Klay, Butler, Kemba or Middelton and roll with LeBron + 2nd star + young core + #1 pick. That way we preserve our present AND future and we don't have to give up the farm for AD.

    BTW, I think AD is highly overrated and he's not as durable as I'd like him to be...and I think the fact that he can't lead this pelicans team to the playoffs says a lot more about him than it does about the Pelicans. Clippers are not more talented than the Pelicans or Lakers...and yet here we are.

    i really think darius garland's our guy. i wonder if klutch will deliver him via workout/medicals refusals to other interested teams. in which case, actual standing won't matter much.

    Unless we can move into the top 7, I think he goes before us. It's a torn meniscus. Not a terrible injury. If he signed with Klutch, that might help, but I think some team will take a shot at him before we can pick. But if we do go after him, Lonzo is as good as gone.

    Mocks have him as high as 4 and as low as 16; as long as teams don't know we want him and collude against it, we should have a shot. Particularly with his agency on our side. Happens all the time.
